  • A Chaotic, but Beautiful, Attempt at Resolving Plumb's Identity Crisis

    Oct 27 '05
Pros: Some very strong, darker-themed material in the middle portion, and one blast of a dance tune.
Cons: A bit schizophrenic. The love songs are subpar and don't really fit.

Summary: Author's Note: This review was originally written based on a downloaded pre-release of this album, right before its release date was pushed back. I have now acquired a legal copy of the album, and with the exception of two bonus tracks, the ...

  • Satisfying-Lee more evanescent than it's sonic cousin Fallen

    Dec 17 '07
Pros: Tiffany Lee's brand of industrial / trance / pop is marvelous
Cons: If you MUST wallow in your misery, this album's positive spin isn't for you

Summary: I wish Plumb's Chaotic Resolve had been released before Evanescence's Fallen. In that scenario, there would probably be no mistaking the fact that Amy Lee gets some of her inspiration from Tiffany Lee's particularly ...

  • Chaotic Resolve

    Aug 09 '07
    Pros: entire album.
    Cons: none here.

Summary: A few months ago, before I had ever heard of plumb, I saw their CD on the new releases area of some store. Completely on a whim I decided to purchase it, hoping to diversify my musical interests. I am very thankful that I did. This CD has become ...

  • ...'Cause she's bittersweet

    Jun 28 '07
Pros: Great voice to go along with engaging music and varied subject matter
Cons: Last fourth of the album doesn't hold up as well at that point

Summary: There's a reason the old adage "Don't judge a book by it's cover" is still used so frequently today: People still take things at face value, and often less at that. Take Plumb ever-evolving rock group turned solo title of a Mrs. Tiffany A. ...

  • She CAN Do This and better than most...me thinks!

    May 08 '06
Pros: stylistically rich and varied...it’s all good
Cons: some may find it too diverse and not focused enough...

Summary: Chaotic Resolve contains a good variety of influences ranging from modern rock, pop, electronica and even some flat out dance numbers a la Madonna. She’s good in all genres and styles of music that she tackles and she has clearly ...

  • Plumb "Chaotic Resolve" is OUTSTANDING!

    Mar 01 '06
Pros: Challenges, inspires, stirs emotion, and is plainly enjoyable to listen to.
Cons: One bonus track "Pray for Me", makes me say "What were they thinking?"

Summary: Plumb “Chaotic Resolve” (02/28/06) Plumb releases another outstanding album filled with her signature thought-provoking lyrics that cover the subjects of life and love, and not just the pretty parts. The music is cutting edge as Tiffany Arbuckle ...

  • Plumb begins again

    Nov 22 '05
Pros: Plumb returns to edgier rock, with a relevancy hard to come by in pop music.
Cons: The release date being pushed back may make it easier for it to go unnoticed

Summary: I've been able to catch a few Plumb shows since the finish of her upcoming release Chaotic Resolve and snag a pre-released copy of the album. The recorded version is just as impacting as the live performances, and is one of my favorites of 2006. Plumb ...
