I bought 2 of these mini systems for my teen age daughters about a year ago. I have had good experience with this brand. I bought a similar unit for my oldest daughter about 3 years ago and it still sounds good despite 2 years of abuse in a college dorm. The bass is surprisingly tight for such small speakers, and power is adequate enough to provide a rich sound stage with all types of music.
