Denon avr 3802
by anarchris ,Jan 11 '08
Pros: accurate Cons: bright
I got a denon because i read that they were warm in sound and my yamaha was bright. however, i found this denon to be brighter than my yammie. It was however more accurate then yamaha. Also, my yammie sent the drums in music in front of me whereas this 3802 tended to send drum sounds to the rear speakers which i didn't enjoy.

Overall, great value as a high-end A/V receiver
by ta0x ,Aug 01 '04
Pros: Many i/o connection options, great sound, more than adequate power for most folks Cons: Only 1 digital coax audio input, no "night listening" mode, non-intuitive setup
I'm very happy with this receiver. Clean sound, plenty of power, lots of bells and whistles, tons of connection options. For me, this replaced a top-of-the-line (at the time) 5-year old Sony, and I think I'll stick with Denon for the next one. Nice, simple remote, many sound modes, and configuration options.

For the money this is an oustanding receiver with every conceivable feature for the mid to high end system.
Excellent Learning Remote...
