Cons: none, unless the other parts used go out. Samsung are not rated high as Panasonic.

Hmmmm, I opened the back of my 27inch tv/dvd/vcr combo, in an effort to replace the skipping dvd player, to my amazement discovered that the picture tube was made by Samsung's Mexico plant, and the tv also has Sanyo speakers.
Wow! How long has this been going on??? Might was well look at a cheaper Samsung with same features???

Finally a TV set that isn't so ugly that you have to hide it in a cabinet! The DVD and VHS combination are terrific...no tangle of wires behind the set! The flat screen offers a great view from all angles. Our whole family loves it!
