Pros: I thought I would like the combo - if the VCR actually worked.
Cons: VCR is useless, sound is not good, picture leaves much to be desired.

I received this television/VCR combo as a present about three years back. The sound is not very good, the one speaker just isn't going to cut it if you want to watch movies on this TV,and the VCR quickly broke. After about 5 months of regular use the VCR began misaligning tapes on the tape heads and not playing correctly. It just got worse from there, and now I can't even get a tape to thread properly - it just gets jammed and the TV shuts itself off. Not a very useful VCR at all. The picture on the TV is just OK, not great. Good for a dorm, or child's room, but not good for regular movie viewing or for a primary household TV.
