Cons: Leaks, caulking, seals, broken cornice on back window, poor customer service

We purchased a 2006 Dutchmen Adirondack Travel Trailer from Holiday Kamper in Spartanburg, SC several months ago. We bought this unit because we would be living in the coach full time; however, we have had nothing but problem after problem since the day we drove it home. The shower leaks and after spending weeks at the dealership being "fixed"---it still LEAKS after we take showers, so we tried caulking ourselves and of course, we still deal with water everywhere...and watch out when it rains---there is a mysterious leak coming from the bedroom window that soaks the carpet and flooring in the bedroom that the dealership claimed they would "try" to find and fix...we doubted that. We have been very disappointed in Dutchmen, and even though we are beginners in the RV world and we may not know everything about the industry, we have decided that we will NOT buy Dutchmen EVER AGAIN!!! Buyers beware!!!

I have not been please at all with the customer service of "Dutchman". We must have purchased a real lemon--the latest most dangerous problem was with the slide out--BEWARE. We are very carefull and maintain our vehicles and RV's. We trade in a "Sportsman" in great condition for a 2001 Dutchman that was bigger--and have spent a fortune keeping it up. DUTCHAMN "says" thanks for letting us know--we will keep the problems i mind for the next years models.
