Pros: Sporty Car, great performance for a 4cyl. Cons: expensive replacement part for the SE models with TwinCam
I've been owning a 87 Nissan Pulsar SE, since 92. I've bought it used, and did not have much problems with it. Except for normal maintenance (breaks, muffler ...), I didn't pass too much time in the shop. The only thing I could see as a bad side to...

Pros: Convertible like drive Cons: Weak engine, poor tranny and unreliable.
The car was not meant for speed. The XE model that I purchased at age 17 had only 70 hp. The interior was also cheap and the car was loud at any speed. I don't why I purchased this chick's car....oh wait, yes I do. It was the only cheap car with a...

Pros: stylish, plenty of leg room, great on gas, dependable Cons: no AC
I bought this baby back in 2001 with 165,000 miles on it..Its a 5 speed stick with the 4cyl single overhead cam engine..Its a bit rusty and has an oil leak(bad gasket somewhere) and the valves tap a bit(these where all there when I bought it) but I haven't had to do a thing to it (it now has 185,000 miles)..just add a half a quart of oil every week and park it on the grass...gets 33 mpg on the highway with nice pickup..It has plenty of storage space in the back and plenty of leg room in the front(I'm 6'3")...the only thing I don't like about it is no AC but I just bought a 88 pulsar that has it and am going to pick it up next week..

Pros: great on gas; reliable; sharp looking exterior and interior; low maintenance; excellent road handling. Cons: 5th gear gone (pop-out problem); virtually non-existent back seat; engine jars when accelerating.
I bought my car in Calgary Alberta almost 3 years ago. It was in great shape then and has never let me down. I loved the look of this sporty little ride and found the clutch to be smooth shifting and the acceleration to be very ample ( I own the dual cam). The car is great on gas and has been reliable since I purchased it in August of 2001. It had 170, 000 kms on the car and it currently has 220,000 kms. The body has held up well and the interior is like new. This car was babied and it is evident in the way it feels on the road. There are a couple of cons to this car so refer below, but they are far outweighed by it's reliability and comfort.
