Pros: Silky ride on most any road. Very roomy for most passengers and drivers. Cons: fuel consumption. Induces sleep on turnpikes. Costly parts. The Bottom Line: If you can find a good one buy it with confidence that it will give good service and probably increase in value.

Pros: Roomy, powerful, reliable, luxurious. Cons: Fuel economy, repair costs The Bottom Line: If you like or need a big comfortable road machine that massages your ego and you don't mind filling the tank, this car could be for you.
My Dad owned big cars and I have always been enamoured of Cadillacs, Lincolns, and big Chryslers. A long time ago I took my driver's test in my Dad's 1957 Imperial. Dad owned a 1953, 1957, 1960, and 2 1962 Imperials, and 1956, 1969, and 1974 Cadillacs....

Pros: comfortable smooth convenient Cons: wiring is known caddy issue The Bottom Line: Might as well get a newer model with the money you would have spent on the repairs. In better condition its an excellent car.

Out of the some 15 cars I have owned in my life, my 1989 Cadillac Fleetwood is certainly the best. I bought it in 2003 with 51'000 miles in the tyres for the price of 13'000 US $. An outstanding "as new" specimen... Driving it here in Switzerland ...
