Pros: styling, durability, cargo capacity. Cons: high center of gravity, turning radius, body role. The Bottom Line: If you find a V6 grab it you won't regret it.

Pros: RELIABLE, roomy, heavy duty bumpers, 4WD, ride hight, minimal road noise for a SUV Cons: Erratic shifting on steep grades or while in cruise, turning radius, power, gas mileage The Bottom Line: Excellent SUV for anyone who wants a using vehicle and not one of those luxury SUVs that are pretty much a big Cadillac.
This is the only vehicle I've owned, that I can honestly say, is virtually trouble free. We always have two vehicles and this SUV has lasted through three other cars, including a Toyota that had less miles on it than this Montero does when it "died." The ... read more
