Pros: Great looks/engine
Reliability, and handling Cons: Parts prices are high ($1400 for a seat cushion?!)
That @%^$# distributor!
The Bottom Line: Good car for 1990, make sure you have a mechanic go over it with a fine comb before you buy one though!
I bought a 1990 Integra RS 2 years ago, and can honestly say that it's been a love-hate relationship. When she came to me, she had 115,000 on her odometer, and nice aluminum wheels, now some 60,000 miles later, and minus a back seat, she seems to have a ... read more

Pros: Good gas mileage, descent handling and power, fun to drive. Cons: Expensive to repair, cheap plastic interior, tight for rear passengers. The Bottom Line: I definitely recommend the Integra. But when buying used make sure to check the vehicle over well so no problems arise after purchase.
The 1990 Integra is a reliable little automobile that provides respectable power and performance while maintaining good gas mileage. I purchased my Integra at 230,000 kms. (142,919 mph.) thinking that since it is a Honda what could possibly go wrong with ... read more

Pros: Very reliable, great gas mileage, handles well, aesthetics Cons: Very bumpy ride, cheap plastic interior, not very powerful The Bottom Line: Terrific for someone beginning or learning to drive. Will last forever. Cheap to maintain and upkeep. Acura, even in 1990, lived up to its reputation.
The 1990 Acura Integra was my college car and I have to say that it treated me well. I took good care of my car and was consistent on maintenance and repairs. For a first car you couldn't find a better one. The engine is very reliable and runs strong ... read more

Pros: Reliable, attractive styling, nice engine torque, and good paint. Cons: Rubber timing belt, vague shifter, and soft clutch pedal feel. The Bottom Line: As a used car, this is a no-brainer. Get it.
Actually, I bought my 2nd generation Integra GS new in December of 1989. The previous generation was also nice, but I didn't really like the flip-up headlights. I knew the day I bought the car I would keep it until it quit. Now even more so, since I've ... read more

Pros: Acura reputation, stylish appearance, and very reliable for daily transportation. Cons: Sunvisors usually useless, no center console for storage or use as an armrest. The Bottom Line: Great car for a low price, and low maintanance.
I purchased my 1990 Integra LS for $1500. It had 255k miles on it at the time of purchase. It has been a little over 6 months now and I've had no problems. The only maintanance I have done to the car is keep the oil changed. The odometer reads 275k right ... read more

Update 10/07/04: We sold this car last year, with 235,000 clicks! It was a little sad watching it being driven away for the last time. --- Review -- A few months ago my 1984 Honda Accord failed inspection due to necessary maintenance that ... read more

Pros: Acura/Honda reliability; above average handling/performance from 5-speed transmission Cons: Sport-tuned suspension can be jarring on bad pavement; insurance can be high The Bottom Line: The best used, compact car you can buy for $3-6k - BAR NONE
I purchased my 1990 Integra GS hatchback about a month ago. It had 107k miles on it, and it was in good condition. I paid $3k and I consider that to be a great price for what I got. The GS model is loaded - power everything (including sunroof) and alloy ... read more

Pros: Great handling and acceleration. Love the design. Great 2-door car. Cons: Sometimes bumpy automatic transmission. Sport car comfort. Low-riding car. The Bottom Line: If I could, I would buy it again, mainly because it has the looks I love, the handling I like, being trouble-free, and the Acura name.
This 2nd Generation Integra is probably the best 2-door car I've driven that was made in 1990. Acura, being a luxury line from Honda, proves that they can make a solid and fun to drive sports car. Although the car I own in automatic, it still has ... read more

Currently I am driving a 1990 Acura Integra three-door hatchback. It is not officially mine, and is under my sister's name, but she only drove it for about 6 months before moving to Chicago and leaving the car with me. I've driven it since for quite some ... read more

I was once the proud owner of an Acura Integra LS hatchback, and it lasted for over 2 years. I purchased the car in Spring of 1994, it was used with about 70,000 miles on the odometer. It had never been wrecked and it appeared to be in good condition. ... read more
