Pros: It has a great stock radio, the seats are so comfortable, it is big enough for five people, and it just keeps going.

The Chevy Cavalier is one of the best cars. My parents bought it in 1990, and it was brand new when they got it too. Now ten years later the car is still in good shape and it still runs. It has gone through both of my parents and I have been driving it...

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 4.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Reliable, Parts are cheap if it breaks, average to good mpg
Cons: Not much room, not "sporty" enough for some.
The Bottom Line: Reliable vehicle for a fair price

Some people swear at these cars, and some swear by them. It goes both ways. I have owned one for 5 years and it had 80,000 miles on it when I bought it. It now has 156,000 miles on it. Out of regular maintenance; I have changed the shocks and struts...

Pros: Very dependable, good fuel economy, nice sized car,
Cons: Can be slow to get to speed (4-cyl) Not a pocket rocket.
The Bottom Line: It's basic, economical, and dependable. It doesn't need pampering or guzzle lots of gas, it's a good choice.

First of all let me say...I love my little Cavalier! I kind of lucked into it because it was in my price range when I needed a car, any car. I bought it in 1995 with 93,000 very rough miles on it. The car's interior was already pretty roughed up, and...

My first car was a 2 door 1987 Chevy Cavalier. It was never the nicest car on the block but with 206,000 miles it ran strong. Not as quiet as all the other cars it still took me to wherever I wanted to go. It could fit up to eight people at one time...

I have to say, the quality of my old Chevy was outstanding. GM designed this thing easily enough so that I, a basic-skilled person when it comes to cars, can maintain it. On some of my leases I couldnt even find the oil filter. chevy makes it easy...

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 3.0 Recommended: No

Pros: Great looking car. Very roomy interior.
Cons: Are they all tempermental?
