Author's Product Rating: 40 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Easy to maintain good on gas lots of storage
Cons: Requires a muffler and radiator very 3 or 4 years
The Bottom Line: The car is very reliable easy to maintain. Parts are interchangeable from other vehicles

I bought a 1990 3.0 celebrity eurosport station wagon in 1993 for $7000.00 and it has been the best car I have owned to date. I bought it with 32,000 miles on it back in June of 1993. I have read some bad reviews, but in my case and two other people in ... read more

Pros: style, room, power (v6)
Cons: paint
The Bottom Line: My favorite car---love the styling, roomy without being a boat, lots of power 2.8 v6, huge trunk, reliable, murph taillights, badass engine/exhaust sound.

I love Celebrities!!!! 1989 was the last year for the sedan. 1990 was the last year for the station wagons. I had a '86 that I bought for $1500 in '89 but it had 60,000 rough, mountain-climbing miles, and the 4spd auto trans ... read more

Pros: plenty of power in 3.1 L model, tons of space, comfortable seating.
Cons: handling in the rain and snow is very tricky
The Bottom Line: If you want a wagon, look into this model.

I would heartily recommend this wagon. There are few problems, and you get great milage in these times of high fuel prices. The ride is smooth, very quiet, I've gotten alot of compliments on that. And if you want to ride in style, there are plenty of ... read more

Pros: Fuel miser, Reliable transport
Cons: Brakes, noisy 4 cyl engine

The 1990 Chevrolet Celebrity is the most reliable car that you can buy for under $2500. Although the Celebrity is one of the cheapest cars you can find, I fail to see the reason why. A fully loaded Celebrity is marvelous, and I had one last ... read more

Pros: Plenty of power to go up and down hills, smooth and quiet ride, excellent exhaust tone.
Cons: Soft suspension and high profile tires make for poor handling.

I bought the vehicle with 75000 miles on it. It was only $1600, which isn't a whole lot considering what the car has for options. It had almost very available option you could get from the factory, which includes the following: -AM/FM Stereo ... read more

Author's Product Rating: 50 Recommended: Yes

Pros: protected my daughter in accident
Cons: older car

I recently wrote about how well I loved my celebrity, the one with 239,000 miles on it. Well, sad to say, it is gone now. My teenage daughter was driving it one day and was involved in an accident with a trash truck. She sustained minor injuries, and ... read more

Author's Product Rating: 50 Recommended: Yes

Pros: smooth, nice looking, good gas
Cons: low to the ground and noisy with windows open

I heard that it was the least expensive car on the market. The base price with no extras is around $12,000(that was for a 2000). It is pretty much maintenance free, except for the oil changes. It runs fantastic, smooth and with power, but I must ... read more
