Pros: cheap, small, quick, and great gas mileage Cons: too small for anyone besides college students
I bought my 1990 CRX si in late 1994 while in college. I was commuting between campus, work, and home, driving 75+ miles a day looking for an economy car with some pep. My older brother had an earlier CRX, and I always remembered how roomy it was for a...

Pros: GREAT gas mileage, nice lines, sporty handling, good acceleration Cons: Poor handling in bad weather, too small for people with a family The Bottom Line: For students or singles this is a great choice, affordable yet sportier than all but a few cars on the road. It's the best of both worlds.
I bought my 1990 Honda CRX in December of '99 as my first car. I had never heard of the car before, but it looked and drove great, and what research I did (on cars.com) seemed promising. The car had 150k miles when I bought it, and it's almost up to...

Pros: reliable, sporty Cons: not as quiet as I would like it to be
I purchased my 1990 CRX nearly 2 years ago from my uncle's neighbor. It had been sitting in his back yard for some indeterminate ammount of time. It needed a new windsheild, fender, turn signals, battery, and exhaust components- but for only $425 for...

Pros: Gas mileage, looks, handling, acceleration, cargo room, aftermarket is everywhere Cons: Everything is manual (mirrors, locks, etc), no cruise control, no backseat.
I had never driven a CRX before a friend of mine let me drive his '86. That day changed my outlook on sports cars. I instantly fell in love with the car, and vowed to someday own one. Well, two years later I have a 1990 CRX Si. It is the greatest car...

Pros: economical, compact, fast Cons: hard to get into, only two seats
I've had my 1990 Honda CRX Si for about eleven months now. It currently has well over three hundred and thirty thousand miles on it. It runs like a champion. It is black and has tilt steering, rear defrost, air conditioning and a stereo cassette. I've...

Pros: Sturdy, Reliable, Good on gas Cons: Handling
My first car ever was a 5-speed Honda Prelude (I'm not sure what year). That car was a beauty, but my foot barely touched the clutch, even with the seat pushed all the way forward. That car didn't last long, but it was the beginning of my love affair...

Pros: easy, quick, simple Cons: good luck finding one with less than 100k miles
Having owned several Hondas (and 3 CRXs) this is the best car Honda has ever made. I've had '85, '89, and 90' SI models and each had over 150k miles put on them, very reliable cars. I'll discuss the '90 model here.
25-30 MPG, decent...

Pros: Reliability, Gas Mileage, quick (not fast), handling. Cons: None that you wouldn't expect from a car of this size. The Bottom Line: If I was to buy a 13 yr old used auto, Honda would be at the top of my list.
I need to get rid of this car but I can't because I like it so much. This car has been exceptionally reliable. I take it to the garage once a year for a once over and recommended servicing. I've only had two problems that I consider exceptional: the...

Pros: Whooooooo-Hoooooooooo!!!!! Cons: Rust and rattle
I bought Yabu brand new fifteen years ago and it's the best investment I ever made. I still smile as I drive this baby around.... The handling, (very refined for an economy car or sports car for that matter,) is superb! After 238,000 miles the engine still revs smooth and even but it's absolutely essential to adjust valves every 30,000 miles to maintain this performance. The brakes are front and rear disk - outstanding! Braking is sure and even, very safe. What was Honda thinking when they made this wonderful ride? WHAT were they thinking when the replaced it with the Del Sol?! Quality materials inside, perfect driver position with all controls visible and within easy reach.
There is a problem of rust (especially on the sunroof and in fuel-door compartment) and rear-hatch rattle. Big deal for a car that delivers so much Wow-wow-wee!!!!
To sum it all up, if this should be the only car I ever own, I will have driven well this time around.
THANK YOU HONDA!
