Pros: Cheap to get and keep, spacious, easy parking, cheap insurance, fun to drive Cons: Too low, mufflers don't last, seats not too comfortable. Disbelieving looks from drivers I pass! The Bottom Line: It's the FUEL ECONOMY, stupid! This is one of the great used car buys, DO IT!
My Honda is an '89 but Epinions has no category for this model year, so here it is under 1990. My beloved Baby Blue has a manual transmission with almost 230,000 miles on it, and it still gets 40-45 mpg on the highway, and 25-30 mpg in L.A. stop-n-crawl...

Pros: Everything but driving in the snow Cons: Driving in the snow
I bought a Honda Civic Si brand new in 1990 and I was very saddened by it's death in 1992 when I was in an accident and my car was totalled.

Pros: Economical, Sporty, and Reliable Cons: Some rattles, but it is 12 years old... The Bottom Line: I was thoroughly impressed by this car, and consider it one of the best auto purchases I have made in years.
I recently purchased a 1990 Honda Civic 3 Door Hatchback from a local used car dealer. I was not immediately attracted to this car, but after a test drive up the meanest canyon in Utah (Parley's), I was convinced it was a great car. This is always my...

This car won't die for anything, I mean anything! It has almost 400k miles and still works (sorta). it has trouble on the freeway getting up to speed, but it can hold the speed once it reaches it. We've had this car for a good 5 years now and it has ...
