Pros: Interior customizable, exterior nice and "accident" safer then most cars, cheap Cons: Lots of bad trannys on these The Bottom Line: Great Car! Especially nowadays with everyone thinking they need some Hybrid or a Hummer it is a nice to see one of these still out on the road.
Well this is my first car. I actually bought it out at a local Police auction for $250 and from day one I was impressed with it. It had over 147K miles on her and everything still seemed to be in working order which is was pretty good. Anyway, I had ...

Pros: economic Cons: -
We bought a 90 used Mazda 626 LX. Although it is very old, I like it no argument. I have used it more than one year. So far it is good. There was not large repairing, just regular oil change. It has power windows, power locks, big trunk, sunroof, and...

Pros: Styling, comfort, handling, great gobs of acceleration, dependability Cons: Cheap tape deck/speakers The Bottom Line: The Mazda 626 is a solid dependable car; the GT is for people who want a solid dependable car, and want a car that's a sheer joy to drive.
The summer after I graduated, right before I left for college, I was forced to sell my trusty 89 Dodge Dakota 4x4 because it was pushing 200,000 miles and I didn't know how many trips to college and back it could make. I needed an inexpensive car that...

Pros: Reliability, comfort, maintenance, longevity, roominess, great trunk, crusie control Cons: Wimpy engine, lack of power doors and locks, windshield wiper problems The Bottom Line: Would definitely recommend this as a starter car for anyone.
Where to start, where to start... Let's see, I "inherited" my 1990 Mazda 626 from my mom, who bought it new, so I guess you could say that I've been there throughout the entire life of the car. And I must say it's doing pretty dang good for being 14 ...

Pros: Reliable, Affordable, Quiet. Cons: Doesn't hold resale value as well as an Accord
I've owned, borrowed, and rented various cars over the years and I keep coming back to one vehicle that is just about perfect...the good old 626.
My first car was a 1983 2-Door 626. It was only a couple of years old but had been a sales car...

Pros: great car Cons: don't keep after 1000k miles
My parents bought this car brand new in 1990. They sold it to me in 1997. I cannot recall the miles it had on it then. But now I have 138k. It has not been a smooth ride though...I love the car, don't get me wrong. But I have emptied my savings replacing...

Pros: very very dependable, really cheap to run and extremely steady on highway Cons: some road noise
I bought my 1990 mazda 626 dx in 1996 with 164000 miles on it. I have never had a more reliable used car. Currently I have 207,000 miles on it, yet it runs smooth and strong. It is great for merging into traffic and can hit 80 miles an hour in the twinkling of an eye. I love the cruise control and the power the little car delivers. I wish they could make these beauties all over again.
