Pros: Safe, comfortable, roomy, and attractive. Cons: Terribly unreliable, too many high repair costs, and poorly built. The Bottom Line: Don't be deceived by this cars attractive looks and desirable driving character. It's unreliable from A-Z.
For a few months, during the Fall of 2005, I owned and drove a Ford Taurus sedan. I really had a love/hate relationship with the car, which I will explain in more detail later in my review. It was inexpensively priced, had a good safety record, was ...

Pros: design, easy to find parts, cheap on 2nd hand market Cons: transmission, fit and finish, Ford attitude,
I have a 91 Ford Taurus 3.0L AXODE in Silver Grey .
This car is excellent for a family of four, and has plenty of leg room, and for a 91 a well designed ageless feel to it. The car has 200000 km. It was the first attempt by Ford to use Dr....

We bought a Ford Taurus a few years ago it was a 91'. We bought it because it fit our family. Well when we bought it we had to replace the transmission and the paint on the hood was chipped. Now it is 2000 and it is already needing another transmission...

Pros: space and reliability Cons: steering is slow
My family owns a '91 Ford Taurus wagon in black. When the car was first new and I was smaller I would sit in the back of the car and wave to people that were behind us. This back seat that has 2 seatbelts and limited leg room has been quit helpful over...

I own a 1991 Ford Taurus. Its has about 150K miles on it and it still runs like a pro. This particular car used to be an undercover police car and still contains the police radio. It has a 3.8 liter fuel injected engine and belive me it will fly. I...

Pros: Very dependable and oh, so comfortable to drive, even for a short person like me. Cons: Not much that I can think of The Bottom Line: Due to horror stories from others I would be leary of purchasing this car again, even though I had only good times with it.
Wow. Out of curiosity I started reading the Taurus reviews. They only confirmed my suspicions. I think the Taurus tends to be a lot like a cocker spaniel. If you know cockers you will find they come in good and bad. It seems they have two very different...

Pros: decent safety features, spacious, and a convinient change holder Cons: many, many recalls, this car WILL fall apart on you
From experience, I would have to say that this car is not worth the money you would spend on it. This was my first car and it had eighty thousand miles on it. It is a six cylinder, 3.0 liter. From the start, I have had problems with my breaks, causing...

My little sister owns a 1991 Ford Taurus, and I've got to admit...it really sucks! Now, I'm not trying to cut down Ford Motor Company in any way, I just think they can build a better car. This particular Taurus has a 3.4 L V6 that barely has a...

Pros: roominess, appearance Cons: everything mechanical The Bottom Line: I would not recommend this car to anyone. I didn't want to listen myself and now I wish I would have.
I bought this car used from a dealer for $500. I thought that was an excellent price since the car was in perfect condition. I mean not a dent, scratch, spot on the interior, nothing! The guy said it needed a new head gasket so I thought with a...
