For graduation last year my mom and dad wanted to do something nice for my twin sister and I. They decided to buy us a car. My dad went to the auction and brought back a white 1991 ford tempo for us to share with 60,000 miles on it. It was a nice car ... read more

Pros: Good basic car
Cons: Plastic

I have a 1992 GL. I have not had it long enough to write of it's longevity but at 103,000 miles, it must have SOME life in it. The edition that I have is neither roomy or quiet. The four cylinder engine is a bit noisy but here again, it is 103K miles ... read more

The Bottom Line: A great combination of economy, comfort, reliability, and longevity.

I bought my '93 Ford Tempo in June of 1993. Curiously, I bought it just after being fired from my previous job. (What can I say? I've always been a contrary person.) From the time I started looking for a car that day, to the minute I signed the ... read more

Pros: Great gas mileage, easy to work on, parts are inexpensive.
Cons: Noisy engine, no rpm gauge.
I bought my Ford Tempo used back in 1992 with 15,000 miles on it. I paid $7500 for it, and well worth it. I have to say that I was more than pleased with this car. It came with a 2.3 liter Inline 4 cylinder engine. Very good on gas mileage. Although the ... read more
