This truck is the first vehicle that I ever owned. I bought it used in '93 with about 25,000 miles on it, and have been driving it since. I use it as a second vehicle now, since it is always handy to have a truck. There are not too many frills with...

Pros: strong running, long lasting
Cons: not much room for passengers

I bought this truck new as a second car. It soon became my daily driver. I have the V6 and it is a real strong engine. I have over 240,000 miles on it and I have no intention selling it. I drive it mostly for work now and I know that I give it a real...

Pros: few repairs, very sturdy vehicle
Cons: paint is chipping

We purchased the 1991 GMC sonoma 4x4 in 1998 because we were in colorado, and needed the benefit of 4 wheel drive. I at first, hate to admit, that I could not stand that truck. I have to say now, that it was one of the best and wisest purchases we have...

I have a 1991 GMC Sonoma pickup truck. I bought it in the fall of 1991, used, when it had 13,000 miles on the odometer. I have driven it ever since and it now has 240,000 miles.
The service has been great. I changed the brake pads for the first...

Pros: Nice 5-speed, good accel, nice handling
Cons: Gas guage won't work, lights inside won't work
WEll, I bought it a few weeks ago, this is my second vehicle, and I am glad I picked it up! He wanted $800, I gave him $600. I have the 4 cylinder, I guess some folks call it the "Iron Horse", for its reliability...no AC or power steering, either, but the major perk is the the gas guage won't work. There is also stock wheels from a 2002 Chevy Extreme installed, and a Pioneer CD player with one speaker from a random Ford in it...other than that, it is actually pretty danged comfortable to ride in, and I especially like the 5-speed tranny...plus a new exhaust is a nice addition as well. A 10!
