Pros: V-6 power, cheap insurance. Cons: It is a early 90's GM, hence it is made with cheap parts and materials. The Bottom Line: If you are looking for a headache and you love early 90's American craftsmanship (or lack thereof), then this is the car for you! This car is bad.
I purchased my 91 Olds Cutlass Supreme in Feb. of 1999. It only had 54,000 on it, and yes it did belong to an elderly couple before I purchased it. I figured it would last me for a while. I unloaded it last week (Feb 9, 2002)...and just in time!! I...

Pros: If it's for free, it's for me! Cons: Its brake problems are legendary! The Bottom Line: If you know how to fix brakes and don't live with Ohio salt on the roads, this car is your friend.
When the engine in Ye Olde Escort suddenly gave up the ghost, I was left stranded without transportation. After weeks of driving Daddy's Monster Truck, I finally had somebody GIVE me this 1991 Cutlass Supreme. It had less than 93,000 miles on it. For ...

Pros: Styling, economy, roominess, versatility, modification potential. Cons: Depreciation, brakes, discontinued style. The Bottom Line: I would recommend to all on a budget. Styling, roominess, modification potential, maneuverability, and cost are all reasons to purchase.
The 1991 Cutlass Supreme is in my opinion an excellent value and would recommend to anyone searching for a car in it's category or price range.
For starters its a naturally aspirated 3.1L 6cylinder with dual exhaust. The engine is very responsive...

Pros: Excellent power on the highway. Sporty if you have the right model. Cons: High maintenance costs.
My car will hit 200,000 miles easily, but only after spending over $5,000 on maintenance over the past 5 years. Look out for problems with the brakes including the brake-pump motor kit and the rear brakes failing. This car is reasonable for insurance and gas mileage is good on the highway. There is plenty of power to pass if you have the 3.4 L engine, in fact enough power to get you into trouble at 125 mph. Overall a fun car which hasn't left me stranded anywhere in 100,000 miles.
