Pros: Reliability, comfort, sex appeal, feedback to the driver, overall ergonomics inside are perfect. Cons: Not realizing sooner that the best cars on earth were made by Germany. The Bottom Line: You love to drive? this car loves to be driven. Care for it and it will reward your senses in ways you didn't know a car could.
"panzer' means "tank" in German.. and thats exactly what the 1992 525i is.. its a honest to goodness TANK! I bought my 525 in 2009 and have been enjoying every mile since. This is a real drivers car. Its no BS what BMW says about their cars, they ... read more

Pros: Great engineering, safe, solid, dependable. (The 5 series is probably their best car.) Get behind the wheel and you see why it's called the Ultimate Driving Machine... Cons: High price, repairs can be expensive, smallish trunk...
No,this is no overstatement... my 1992 5 series probably did, indeed, save our lives in a serious wreck we had some years ago. I had come to a dead stop in an intersection and we were , as racers call it, "T-boned" by a car that had slowed ... read more

This is my 2nd BMW and I must say it's been nothing but a pleasure driving it for all these years. I first bought a 318is(1991) and was a bit disappointed. A lot of things went wrong with that car. Then I stepped up to a 525 and was the best thing I had ... read more
