Pros: Reliable, Good Handling
Cons: Little nitty things are frustrating

Being Disabled, I may have a slightly different view on this car. But seeing as there have been many opinions made so far on this car, one with a different view might be positive.

The Facts

I have the 2.2 litre model,...

Of Corsica!

Pros: Price, cheap V6
Cons: stying, resale value, power

My first car was a 1992 Corsica LT. I purchased it in 1995 with just under 40,000 miles. It was still going strong when I wrecked it at 90,000 miles a few years later.

The Corsica was one good car. At least, the V6 model was. My wife had a...

My 1992 Chevy Corsica

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 5.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: roomy, quiet, family sedan
Cons: paint chipping

Probably one of the best purchases I ever made was my 1992 Chevy Corsica back in 1995. It looks like just another normal car with 32,000 miles at the time. 65,000 miles and over 5 years later, the car has been in the shop for nothing but tires,...

Pros: V6 power, good steering, airbag and anti-lock brakes--great car for little money!
Cons: no legroom in back, funny-sounding horn

My first car was a 1989 Ford Tempo. That was a miserable mistake of a purchase. After somehow surviving several months with that thoroughbred lemon, I bought my 1992 Chevy Corsica in February 1996: bright blue, with 77,000 miles on it. It cost $5800 at...

Pros: V6 is very quick, comfortable interior, good on gas, strong body and frame
Cons: N/A

Having only $800 to go down on a vehicle, I finally found a car I thought was a good deal. It was a 1992 Chevrolet Corsica with 62,000 miles.
After one month of owning this nice car and having a CD player installed in it, my Corsica was destroyed by...

Good car, but visited the shop often

Pros: Nice ride, safe, V6 engine is powerful, a good sturdy car
Cons: Needs regular maintenance and trips to the shop; not for those on a tight budget!

I bought this car in 1995 (it is a 1992 model). I wanted a reliable mid-size car that was safe to drive. When I bought my Corsica, it had 39,000 miles on it. I've put about 11,000-12,000 miles on it per year since then.

The paint is...

Good Value and it Holds Up

by NoahAlex2b

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 3.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Long Lasting, good speakers, readily available and fairly cheap parts, smooth ride, dependable, inexpensive to buy and operate, V6 power that lasts
Cons: paint chips bad with factory paint job, power doors and windows are sometimes slow, locks don't always work, gas guage isn't accurate

After my 1990 Dodge Spirit (see my 5 star review of it on here as well), was totaled, I bought a 1992 Chevy Corsica. I've had the Corsica for about a month now so I'll tell ya what I know. When my father and I first saw the car on a car lot in Charleston...

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 3.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Power, acceleration, speed, style
Cons: Noisy clinks.

This may be an older car but I love driving it. When you hit the gas the car flies. The 3.1 liter engine with 6 cylinders make it move. Very stylish looking car. It is quite durable. The car has been in 2 accidents, hit a dear, and driven into a...

Pros: good torquelove the power steering
Cons: muffler deteriorated not much for leg room in the back
Two words. WOW eeeeee. I'm only 14 and Im having a blast with this car. Sure my grandma broke it in, but she will burn some rubber when i stomp on it. right now it has around 120,000k on it and hums nicely. Though i did some work on it putting on new NGK plugs, and cables, NOS octane booster and injector cleaner, a new K&N intake kit, and lastly a Flowtech exaust (ThunderMuff catback universal muffler). And i could not say anything bad about my car. It is very responsive and there is some good torque.
