Pros: Performance, comfort, quality, practical. Cons: Gas mileage in the Turbo models is relatively low. Backs only for kids, small adults. The Bottom Line: I would recommend this car to anyone looking for a great semi-small car to enjoy for years, virtually trouble free.
You'll love the handling & performance!
My car: 1992 Shadow ES Turbo, 4-door From the time I test drove this car to the time eventually traded it in, (which I hated to do) I absolutely loved this car. On the first test drive, I was extremely impressed with the way it handled. I was ...

Pros: Performance, cargo capacity, features Cons: Exhaust, shocks
I bought a '92 Shadow ES almost new in '93. It was my first car; previously I had driven the family cars. What attracted me to it was the styling, price, and features. I'm six feet tall, so buying a small car was rather difficult, as most seem built for...

Pros: none Cons: everything
I bought the car in 1995 with 34,000 miles on it from my sister. It was my very first car and I have regretted buying it since day one. This car is unbelievable. It is not even close to being reliable since I had to replace the original exhaust...

Pros: Fuel economy, cargo room, front legroom Cons: Read review. The Bottom Line: If properly serviced, it can be dependable. Otherwise, avoid.
I bought my Shadow America in '93. It only had 50 miles on it. It now has 153,000 miles on it and up until last year was very dependable.
The Shadow America is a very basic model. I have the hatchback model with a 2.2L 4-cyl engine connected to...

In 1998 I purchased a 1992, 2 door Dodge Shadow, in the fabulous color white. It was my first car a ...

Pros: Fun little car. Great in teh winter Cons: tiny back seat, 3spd revs too high The Bottom Line: For what you can pick these up for today, I don't think you can go wrong. The 2.2L engine is a reliable Mopar staple.
I picked mine up this fall for a winter beater (didn't want to drive my Lincoln LS in the Michigan winter). I gave $200. It was the "crew car" out at the airport and only had 51,200 miles on her. I put new brakes and exhaust on her and a couple of tires ...
