Pros: VERY spacious Good economy (25+ MPG) Good Performance (2.6l I-4) Luxurious
Cons: NONE
The Bottom Line: It is just an awesome vehicle for the money!

We just purchased a 1992 Mazda MPV (January 2004) It's main reason for purchase was for my fiance to get back and forth to University, and to carry our 11 year old daughter around. The vehicle we bought has 130,000 miles on the clock, and only had the 1 ... read more

Excellent Vehicle! Visability is great!

Pros: Great driving "feel," hugs the road, inexpensive.
Cons: Quirky lights, brakes need maintenance, great driving visability.
The Bottom Line: I would buy this vehicle again. Even when I had trouble, it was because I didn't have the time to take it to the shop when it made noises.

I still have this vehicle; I liked it enough that I put a new engine it in when the other one went. Now am up to over 180,000 miles. I bought this in 1993 with 1700 miles on it. From the beginning, I was impressed. The visability while driving was amazin ... read more

Nothing exciting but does its job

Pros: Good ride. Comfortable. Reasonably quiet. Good heating & A/C. Good quality.
Cons: Brakes, Some engine issues.
The Bottom Line: The choice was between the MPV or a Dodge Caravan but Chrysler were having terrible reliability problems with their transmissions, so I chose the MPV. It was the right choice.

I've owned my '92 V6 since new and it now has nearly 130,000 miles on the clock. I have been pretty religious about servicing and oil changes. It has functioned well in its primary role as family transport and has seen the kids grow up since the diaper ... read more

Great Van With a Few Glitches

Author's Product Rating: 30 Recommended: No

Pros: Very reliable
Cons: Bad paint job, makes awful noises

We bought the '92 MPV from a friend, in good used condition. I have to say, it has been incredibly reliable and is a comfy ride. On the downside, the paint peels and chips easily, making it look older and junkier than it is. The engine has a scary ... read more

Pros: comfortable,reliable,economical.
Cons: a bit too much body roll

This van is our second Mazda MPV, we owned an "89" MPV and we enjoyed it so much we bought a new one in 1992. We bought our MPV primarily to be a people hauler therefor we weren't upset that it's not the greatest vehicle for hauling ... read more

The BEST!!1

by
Dec 22, 1999 (A Helpful review)

Author's Product Rating: 50 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Good product
Cons: Gas mileage

The MPV is roomy, handles well, is nice to look at, and is easy to maintain, drive, and use. I test drove all the other mini-vans and opened their back doors, side doors, moved the seats and looked for extras - the MPV was the best by far!!! We took ... read more
