Pros: Reliable, comfortable, roomy, good looking, solid.
Cons: A bit under-powered, visibility out the back with spare tire on rear, poor turning ratio.

I own a 1992 Nissan Pathfinder SE 4x4 and I couldn't love it more. I've wanted one since early in high school - its a gorgeous car.
To start, I bought it in the early part of 2000 with 120,000 miles on it for $8,500. I took it into the dealership...

Pros: You name it - Does everything well.
Cons: High-priced parts and service

Two years ago I got a job 35 miles from my home, so I went looking for a small FWD car like a Civic that would be easy on gas.

I stopped at my bank and they had my '92 Pathfinder as a repo. When I drove it, I could tell it had been seriously...

A solid SUV

Pros: Solid construction, reliable, great handling and comfortable to drive.
Cons: No warning bell when lights left on. I wish it had remote keyless entry.
The Bottom Line: Great SUV. I would not hesitate to recommend the Pathfinder. It is a reliable, well built truck that, if looked after, will run for hundreds of thousands of kilometers.

This is my first SUV. I bought it May 1, 2004 from a Nissan mechanic who had completely overhauled it. It has 378,000 km on it but the engine, which the aforementioned mechanic replaced, had 18,000 km on it and it runs like a top. This is the XE model ...

Pros: Easy to drive, powerful V6, comfortable seats, ROCK SOLID!
Cons: Engine noise, looks, space in far back

I bought a 1992 Nissan Pathfinder about 4 months ago. It has been the best car I've ever owned. I purchased it for $7000 and it had 107k miles on it. It didn't have a spot on the interior or a scratch on the exterior. The seats are very comfortable....

I love my Nissan Pathfinder, it is comfortable, roomy, and I think it is one of the nicest SUV's out there. My Pathfinder has never given me any problems, so it always been very dependable, and it is eight years old and still running like new. I think...

Pros: Fun to Drive
Cons: Dont get leather interior

I own a 1992 Nissan Pathfinder. It is probably the best vehicle I have ever owned. It has almost 100,000 miles on it and it still runs like I bought it yesterday. I am currently in the process of thinking of buying a 2001 model Pathfinder since I love my...

Brilliant vehicle

Pros: Reliable, well built, good on and off road, comfortable, well appointed.
Cons: Needs a little more power, interior is a bit "concrete slab" looking.
This is a great 4WD. Passenger car comfort and handling and more than capable off-road. Smooth tractable motor although a little thrashy above 3000 rpm. Not overly endowed with power, but goes past most other 4WDs up steep hills. Gearbox is a bit notchy - you need to be deliberate with changes. Fuel economy is to be expected for a 3l V6. Cargo carrying capacity could have been improved as the seats don't fold down completely. The cruise control on this model is the best I've ever used. Power windows are also very good. Mine has done 180 000 km and I'm going to trade it in on another Pathfinder.

I love Nissans.....

Pros: Good ride, love that it's a stick and 4wd.
Cons: Rusting, paint sucks (but that's Nissan for ya)
I've owned my 92 Pathfinder since September of 2004. I've had some problems with it. About 2 months into owning it, my boyfriend and some friends had to replace my left tie rod, after I went over a speedbump! Then a couple of months later, after taken it out of 4wd, my speedometer stopped working. I'm taking it to the dealership this week. I bought a speedo cable for it (from the dealer-$70, couldn't find it anywhere online). A girl I know owns a pathfinder (auto-tragic) and her speedo is broken too! I don't remember what year, but I haven't heard of any others going. It's a good ride. I have a set of Kumhos on it, great tires. It's a stick and the cruise control doesn't work, but that didn't stop me from driving it from central PA to Atlantic City (after owning it for 1 month). My boyfriend owns an 03 Sentra SER SpeV. I loved his car and love the new pathfinders. I can't wait until I finish college and trade it in on a new one. I'm a Nissan girl for life!

Pros: reliability, looks, comfort
Cons: 4x4 needs more options, A/C shows low quality record, not comfy to camp in
I love my truck. It looks great and better on gas then Jeeps and such.
Needs improvement:in 4x4(outdated), needs rear diffs, A/C poorly build, can't sleep in it if you medium or tall height person.

The Best I've Owned

Pros: Very reliable, comfortable and efficient. Low maintenance costs.
Cons: Turning radius is too large and carrying capacity is small.
Original owner of a 1992 Nissan Pathfinder with over 185,000 miles. This SUV has been extremely reliable and efficient. After all these miles, it still gets more than 20 miles per gallon, rides great and everything works well. I have the V6 with 5 speed manual, 31x10.5 all terrain tires, power steering, power door locks, power windows and CD player. I have never gotten stuck in snow or mud and use this SUV extensively for ski trips with five people and equipment.
