Pros: Dependable, roomy and comfortable with decent gas mileage. Cons: It's not as quick as I'd have liked, the ride's a little rough, and the center cup-holder is flimsy.
I purchased my 1992 Bonneville SE about 6 months ago when my then-primary car became less than reliable. It cost me just over $6000 and had just over 86,000 miles on it. I'm used to driving older and larger vehicles (Buicks and minivans), so the...

Pros: excellant powertrain, reliable Cons: GM's quirks The Bottom Line: I'd recommend this car to older people who aren't going to drive agressively like myself.
I got this car at the age of 17 (with 108k on the odometer) and it lasted me until I was 20 (and 163k). Which is impressive if you think about it.
Exterior
Good-looking Pontiac sporty styling. I always liked the looks best of the...

Pros: Comfortable car with ample room, performance, and decent styling. Cons: Front end brakes wear frequently, intermittent gremlins in electrical system. The Bottom Line: It would be a good bet for years of comfort and style. I would recommend getting the electrical and the condition of the brake components checked out
I purchased my 1992 Bonneville in July 1995. We were looking for a used car, and found it on a Chrysler dealer's lot. They were more than happy to get rid of it, and the 3 year old 45,000 mile SE model cost us about $13,000. I am horrible at wheeling...

Pros: Comfy, powerful, lots of storage, drives great Cons: bad gas mileage in town, larger car requires careful parking The Bottom Line: The Bonneville is an incredible car, lots of comfort with plenty of power, and used ones are very reasonably priced.
I have lot's of good things to say about the 1992 Bonneville (92-99 are almost all the same, they did have a few engine upgrades). It drives very nice. This car is great for taking long trips in. The rear seats have more leg room than almost any ...

Pros: Great features, well equipped, beautiful car, drives like a dream Cons: Cons? What would be so bad about a Pontiac?
I have NEVER seen a bad deal on a Pontiac Bonneville. When I was eleven, my parents purchased a new 1992 Bonneville. I was so excited. Never before had I ridden in a car that drove so smoothly. It was so unbelievable, as though I was riding on air,...

Pros: great engine/powertrain Cons: bad electrical
For those of you who may not know, The '92 Bonneville was a brand new style and design. There are always troubles with a brand-new design and my '92 was no exception. I had electrical failures such as 3 out of 4 of the power windows failing. I also...

Pros: Comfortable ride, engine power. Cons: Everything. This car is fallen apart. Suspencion, brakes, electronically. The Bottom Line: It's better Bonneville then Grand AM and Grand Prix. All in all it's a good reliable and safe car.
I bought this car a year ago and it had 113000 miles on it. It's a total junk. The car is fallen ...

Pros: Great looking car with the power to blow everyone off the road Cons: transmission is faulty
I purchased a used Pontiac Bonneville SSEI I just had my third transmission replaced. I found out it had another transmission put in it before I bought it. I have only put 20,000 miles on it. GM has notified me that it needs to have a computer...

Pros: Lots of room Cons: The guy that sold it to me
I bought my 92 Bonneville SSEi (supercharged 3800 V6) used in 96. At 6'4 I felt the car had adequate room and the price was reasonable. Unfortunately space is about all I am pleased with, as I have had nothing but expensive trouble with the car since I...

Pros: fairly zippy, built like a tank, handles well for a big car Cons: transmission broke, and reverse sometimes didn't work, stereo was average The Bottom Line: fast in the mid range, but a little slow of the line. however the handling of this big car makes up for the sluggishness from a dead stop.
I'm a 18 year old boy has pushed this car to its limits. I loved my Pontiac. It was big, fast, and deadly. The engine had a 3.8L V6 that threw out a 205hp which i thought was sufficient, but hey you never can have too much power. This car handled...
