Pros: Unique looking, fun car that still turns heads after 14 years.
Cons: Can't service it just anywhere, and if you do need repairs, they are often spendy.
The Bottom Line: Know the maintenance history before you buy, and scout out your local Saab enthusiasts for recommendations on mechanics/service centers.

Pros: Comfortable seats, Decent standard sound system, smooth shifting transmission, mechanics are awesome, super owner loyalty
Cons: Rough ride, difficult hood to open, AC issues
My name is Brian, and I am an NC resident. I bought a Saab 900-S as my first car, and it is awesome. It is a 1988 model with 196,000 miles, and is still running strong. Everything is good, minus the air conditioning which has major problems and is currently not working. This is a fun, low maintenance car whose only problems are those involved with its age.
