Pros: Comfortable, dependable, safe and keeps going! Cons: Gas mileage could be better but for a 6 cylinder it's not too bad. The Bottom Line: It amazes me that a car could go this many miles! Toyota Camry's are very dependable and I would recommend this car to anyone.
We found our Toyota in the desperate of times and even drove many miles to buy it. We got a really good deal on it because the previous owner had taken such good care of it. It ran really well despite the 242,000 miles that was on it. It now has more ... read more

Pros: Dependable, powerful and a comfortable ride. Great family car. Cons: Hard to see out of back window when backing up. The Bottom Line: I would highly recommend this car because it's dependable and lasts longer than the average sedan.
We bought our 1992 Toyota Camry V6 in 2002 when a relative recommended buying one. We could not afford a newer one, but were fortunate enough to find this one at a repo lot for $2500. It had just over 100,000 miles on it, but from what we've heard ... read more

Pros: at age 12 (in car years), still looks good and runs great! Cons: a bit too large, very common The Bottom Line: The 1992 Toyota Camry is a great investment and worth every cent. Very reliable and long-lasting. I would recommend to anyone!
I've been driving my Camry since 1999 (we bought her "used" that year). "She" drives like a dream. I've never had any problems with her, except for a few minor repairs here and there (just typical "wear and tear"). Whenever I take her into the shop to ... read more

Pros: Great commuter car, decent fuel economy, good cargo and passenger room. Handling beats V6 model. Cons: May be too big for some people, gutless engine if you have a lead foot. The Bottom Line: Toyota reliability with decent handling as well. I have no doubt that the original engine would be running strong had I not starved it of oil.
I got my '92 Camry LE (4-cyl) back in high school and put 207k miles on it until I forgot to put the oil cap on during a oil change and damaged the engine. After changing out the engine, the car runs great, the handling is great due to a nice stiff ... read more

Pros: Powerful engine, very reliable, smooth ride, seats 4 comfortably Cons: Nobody wants to sell theirs so used prices are high, seats awkward (for me) The Bottom Line: A good used Camry is worth paying the extra buck for.
If you see a used Camry V6 for sale and like the way it drives, then buy it. Get the car checked, as you always should, and if you find that there is little cosmetic damage, then you can buy the car and not worry about regretting the decision. We bought ... read more

Pros: good power V6, comfortable, large trunk, spacious interior, reliability Cons: gas consumption, not feel the road sensations The Bottom Line: Do the maintenance at the good time and you can keep it for a very long time.
I have a Camry LE V6 1992 since one and half year and I like it very well. Real cool car when you have four others people with you comfortably in a long distance. The engine sound like a little turbine who is very smooth. It's a sure value for many years ... read more

Pros: Roomy, Comfortable, dependable Cons: Most often stolen car The Bottom Line: This is a great car for many reasons.
This is a great starter for kids. Its roomy, gets you to where you need it to. It's speedy. The maker started in the 92 year to put this special coating on it so it takes longer to rust. With our car we haven't seen any rust so far. But, there has ... read more

We have a 92 Camry Wagon, (the same engine as the sedan) it has 186,000 miles on it and still runs great, we haven't had any major problems, just things that have come with age such as the motor mounts and the axle boots.

After my CRX was wrecked by a careless driver, I bought this 92' Camry from my sister-in-law. The car is low miles but overall I do not like this car very much.

Forgive me father, for I have sinned. I'm a HORRIBLE car owner. I drive abusively, I hardly ever change the oil, I let things go too long, and I hardly ever wash it.

Pros: Great Gas Mileage, Supposedly Long Lasting and Reliable Cons: Except for sipping gas, expensive to own for a mid-size family car. The Bottom Line: You pay more and get less. Don't pay for the name.
In 2000-2001, I owned a 1988 Toyota Camry. I purchased it with 118,000 miles. By the time I sold it, it had 138,000 miles. I wasn't too impressed with it like I thought I would be. Reliability was terribly dissapointing. It had some mechanical flaws ... read more
