Pros: It is a Toyota Cons: Not a lot of trunk space
I have a 1992 Paseo that I adore. It takes $10 worth of gas to fill up and I can travel from Kentucky to Tennessee and back on one tank.
I have had my car for 5 years now and I have never had any problems with it. (knock on wood) Even...

Pros: Dependable, great gas mileage, sleek style Cons: Not very comfortable.
My mom bought a toyota paseo brand new in 1992. It is a very sleek and well designed car with good control and speed for a 2.2 liter fuel injected engine. It has a sporty spoiler and lots of trunk space as well. I was very excited to ride in her...

Pros: Great gas mileage, looks great, and very few problems. Cons: Small, no airbags, very little room in rear seat.
I bought my Paseo about two years ago and just sold it. Why did I sell it? I'll tell you that a little later on. Why did I buy it in the first place? Let's get down to it. If you read my profile you'll see that I thoroughly research just about...

Pros: Cute, small, affordable Cons: Limited seating room
My 1992 Toyota Paseo was my first real car. My dad is a car sales manager, so we did get it wholesale, but it wasn't cheap still. It fits my personality and looks sporty and still looks newish, which is why I actually agreed with my dad on having it....

Pros: Extremely efficient. Clean. Fun to drive. Fast! Cons: Small back seat

Eye level with headlights The Bottom Line: Great car for young kids who drive safely. Excellent value and reliability.
I absolutely love this car. I got the car for $1500 with 140k miles on in in 2004. Currently, it has 190k and is running strong. The only major problem I have had to fix so far is the CV joint, which is typical. Also, the AC went out and NOBODY, and I ...

Pros: Reliability, nice look, good value Cons: Back seat head clearance, small engine... The Bottom Line: You have a little family, want something reliable (Toyota), want something looking nice (not a Tercel), this car is for you. I would recommend it to everyone!
When I thought about buying a Toyota Paseo, I thought of buying a sporty Tercel. Not quite. The look is very nice, nicer that Tercel's. As the gearbox was automatic, the performances out of it were poor. I would have liked an engine more energic that...

Pros: Always reliable, very economical Cons: NONE!!!!!!!!!!
He loves it because it was a great experience from day 1. I only ever had to replace one item on the car and that was the windshield washer fluid pump. Kinda pricey but not all that bad. Mine was a red '92 and it was a cop magnet from day 1 as well. The...

Pros: cute and sporty Cons: no leg room, high repair bills
I purchased my Toyota Paseo new in 1992. In 1994, with 40,000 miles, I "blew a rod" and spent $1700 to rebuild the engine. In addition, I have spent thousands on brake jobs. The brakes go bad frequently. I have had several electrical...

Very Dependable Small Car

Pros: Awesome gas mileage, dependable, gets you around Cons: Not for tall people, not roomy, small
This car was given to me (yes given!) from a friend who's had it for a long time. I've had it for a year now and I haven't had any problems. I've driven it to school and work, freeways and far places and it has been very dependable. The gas mileage is the best it can be, especially when you are counting pennies and when gas prices are so high, especially here in California!
When I got this car, the air cooling system didn't work. And the seating in the back was probably designed with kids in mind. You will find that the average adult will have to bow his head forward to keep his head from hitting the back window with every bump. There isn't much leg room back there either so keep those back-seat trips short. The trunk has good average space....maybe it could have been given more to the back-seat leg room. The shocks on my car are gone so it aggravated the problem.
This is a good car for those who travel to school or work and need good gas mileage to save money on.
