Pros: Toyota without the cost, smooth drive, quick pick-up Cons: a bit sluggish in extremely cold weather
My previous vehicle was on its last leg, so I decided to check around about a new car. I did my homework. I checked Consumer Reports and many online sources about any recommendations or suggestions. I decided that I wanted a compact car, and...

Pros: Roomy, quick and easy to drive. Cons: A full load of passengers kinda slows accelleration.
I bought this vehicle used in October of 1996. It only had 21000 miles on it and we paid around $11000 for it. This car has been great, it has taken us on several trips to Utah, Oregon, Nevada and all over the Los Angeles area and the central...

Pros: good gas mileage (28-30 in town, 35 highway), nice interior Cons: Incredibly slow, terrible handling, bad paint The Bottom Line: Great car, but avoid the 1.6L, sacrifices too much in handling and power
Likes: Bought the car a year ago for $1100, it had 165000 miles on it. Knowing it has a Toyota engine and transmission, I had no reservations about buying it, since the previous owner took diligent care of it and kept all the records. What shocked me ...

Pros: Reliable, and few problems Cons: small!!! cramped!!! The Bottom Line: A super ride for short people who are by themselves and want something worry free. Small but dependable
We own a 1993 Geo Prism. Although it is not a bad car, I would not go this route again for many reasons.
I am not a technical person, so I will not throw alot of stats and numbers at you, but I will give you an honest 32 yr old mothers point...
