Pros: A wonderful car. Cons: None.
I bought my Jeep Cherokee in 1993,and it's not only still going strong, it has many, many years left. I live in Mexico, in a town where the streets are badly cobbled, hilly and horrendous on cars, but my faithful Jeep has not given me one day's trouble....

Pros: looks neat Cons: poor quality
Jeep Cherokee has to be among the most poorly built SUV's out there. I do not own a jeep and I never will for the following reasons:
1. Everyone I know who own a jeep has had a MAJOR overhaul of either the engine or transmission, even on the...

Pros: Power, Reliability, Comfort, and YES....Fuel Economy Cons: Bad Cup Holders, No Accessory Outlet The Bottom Line: If I were in the market for another 4x4 the Grand Cherokee is what I would look for. It is an excellent vehicle.
Well, I said it. Now I'll let you know why. I get between 17-19 mpg from my Jeep. For a V-8, full-time 4 wheel drive that is good! Before buying any 4x4 you should realize what you are getting. You aren't buying it for the mileage. You want to be...

Pros: good, solid car Cons: minor things break down
The Jeep is a good solid car, but if you have a model older that 7 years watch out for the maintenance, things will start breaking down. Other than that its a good car though, everything that was a needed kept working but extras like drivers side...

Pros: new body styling Cons: interior designs, seats
-----I currently own a '93 Cherokee Country. I love it, it meets all my needs. My concern is with the newer models of Cherokees('98-current). My number one complaint with the new breed of Cherokee is the interior design.
-----I will start with...

Pros: Fun to drive, excellent for mountain trails Cons: None that I can think of
I currently own a 1993 Jeep Cherokee Sport. It has 100,000 miles on it and is still running strong. It has given me virtually no problems for the past 50,000 miles since I had it. It is a very fun vehicle to drive for being an SUV, mainly because it is...

Pros: Rugged, durable and dependable Cons: back seat fender wells
I bought this SUV because I work on a ranch that is rocky and hilly. I also coach a softball team and I wanted to be able to put the equipment in the back as well as children in a safe seat belt. I put feed and various other cargo in the back as well...

Pros: Looks snappy, handles well in inclement weather, great heater/AC, fair hauling room, all the monitoring systems Cons: poor gas mileage (13-15 mpg city), truck-like ride, not much people room, short seat belts
There comes a time when we all must let go of a BAD car and invest in a (hopefully) better one. Our time for a better car came when we bought a 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited.I was driving a 1988 Ford Taurus (which deserves another BAD article of it's...

Pros: VERY SPACIOUS, GREAT FOR CAMPING, AND THE SEATS ARE VERY COMFORTABLE. Cons: HAS ALOT OF PROBLEMS AFTER 100,000 MILES!
VERY SPACIOUS, ALSO VERY GOOD FOR LONG TRIPS ESPECIALLY WITH KIDS. IF YOU LOVE S.U.V.'S THAT ARE BIG BUT NOT TOO BIG THIS IS THE WAY TO GO, THIS VEHICLE HAS ROOM AND AT THE SAME TIME SMALL ENOUGH TO DRIVE AROUND MY SMALL TOWN. WHILE THIS S.U.V. HAS ALOT TO OFFER IT ALSO HAS LET ME DOWN. I BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE WITH 140,000 MILES ON IT AND IT RAN GREAT AT THE DEALERSHIP, BUT ONCE I LEFT THE DEALERSHIP I HAVE SINCE REPLACED THE IGNITION SWITCH, THE BATTERY, AND THE FUEL GASKET. IT HAS BEEN SEVERAL MONTHS AND I AM NOW HAVING TO REPLACE SOMETHING ELSE AND I HAVE ABSOLUTLEY NO IDEA WHAT IT COULD BE, EVERY MORNING I GO OUTSIDE AND HAVE TO WAIT AT LEAST AN HOUR BEFORE MY VEHICLE WILL START, AND JUST THIS MORNING IT WOULD NOT EVEN CRANK. SO OVERALL THERE ARE PRO'S AND DEFINATELY CON'S WHEN IT COMES TO THIS VEHICLE.

1993 Jeep 219,000 just broke in.

Pros: Power. Hauling. Comfort. Dependable. Cons: Spare tire inside. Power window regulators wore out too fast (too many drive up windows).
Bought this gem new in 1993. Was asked over and over by friends to sell it to them. We bought a 2007 this year but kept the 93. I think it is just broke-in with 219,000. We have used it for what it is made. Driven up mountain trails, river beds, the White Rim trail, in snow and water, mud, and sand. I have noticed some rust points around the top fender wells and quarter panels, and a spot at the bottom of the rear hatch, but I think we can slow that normal rust wear and tear. The engine still runs well, no smoke, and still good HP from the V8. Change the oil every 3K and I think we will hang on to this one for many more years. I hope our 2007 lasts as long.

Pros: Dependable as the day is long.19 city, 22 highway. Easy to repair. Cons: I've become attached and can't let go.
I have owned my 93 Grand Cherokee for 9 years, I purchased it with 90,000 miles and it now has 240,000+. It has done everything I've ask of it without ever leaving me sitting. Two thirds of the miles I've driven have been pulling a boat and she hasn't minded at all. Would I buy another? I've since purchased a 97, my brother has a 94, my niece has a 94, my brother in law has a 95. Enough said.
