Pros: The best man's toy they ever made! Cons: Gas is expensive!
Disclaimer: I am the wife of a Jeep owner. I write this review claiming total ignorance of the mechanical workings of a Jeep. I speak only from my personal experience which does not include technical expertise!
My husband bought his Jeep in...

Pros: Versatile, Tough, Fun Cons: Noisy, Hard Ride, Luggage Capacity
I'll try and keep this short, but the most important thing you should consider when buying one of these is you. What kind of person are you? It is too easy to be subjective when reviewing this vehicle and so I shall therefore try and be as clinical as...

Pros: Fun, goes anywhere Cons: Noisy with a soft top
We bought this Jeep to replace a Ford Ranger, because it had a back seat. Small, but it is there. The back seat was for the kids' carseats. Well, it had a soft top when we bought it. It was neat, except that is was extremely noisy going down the...

I have a 1993 Jeep Wrangler. She has 5 inches of lift and 33 inch tires. I have my dream vehicle here! I tear up the desert out here in Phoenix... She goes anywhere I want.
I can climb the biggest hills and crawl over the biggest...

Pros: Fun-loving, ready for a challenge Cons: Noisy, noisy, noisy
I bought my '93 Jeep Wrangler Sahara in June of 1997 for two reasons: image and capability. I have always felt that Jeeps give off a certain image of ruggedness and fun-loving. When the top comes off and the wind is blowing through your hair on a dirt...

Pros: Appealing to look at, fun to drive Cons: Lacks room
I purchased my 1993 Jeep Wrangler about a month ago and so far I don't have very much to complain about and I can be quite a picky person! However, I can say this much, if your personality doesn't fit a Jeep then don't ever buy one! For instance, the...

Pros: very durable, good ride, 4 wheel drive Cons: not roomy, loud at times, tips easily
Yes, Gandolf knows his jeeps. The only way I ever got more
room in mine, was to take the back seat out. A must if you want
room, but only if you plan to only give rides to a signal person. I
own a 93' with over 2 hundred thousand...

Pros: Fun, Rugged, Easy to Drive, Goes almost anywhere Cons: are there any? The Bottom Line: Not a Vehicle to travel the amazon or keep up with a rover offroad, but who spends life off road? Wrangler takes highways and most off road with ease.
Before i go and praise this vehicle i'd like to say its not without its fair share of problems mainly off highway. It is however, one of the most entertaining vehicles to drive. We've owned this vehicle for several years now and counting. No ...

Pros: Awesome feeling running around with the top down. Cons: Hate getting caught in the rain with the top down.
As an avid Jeep enthusiast for the past 10 years, I have to say that I am in love with my '93 Jeep Wrangler. I owned a '97 Wrangler and an '87 CJ-7 before, but by far and away, my '93 is the best. I bought my Jeep partly because of the price, I got it...

Pros: looks better ,better ground clearance Cons: lift may cause mechanical problems
I love my Jeep Wrangler, it is my pride and joy. I have spent a lot of money on it so far and this is mostly my fault for being uneducated about what is a good price on this type vehicle. I bought my Jeep for $10,500 and it was completely stock. I...

Pros: Amazing in all weather, gets you chicks Cons: a bumpy ride (it's a truck!!)
The Jeep Wrangler is more than just a car. When you drive it, you are entering a family. All other Jeep owners wave to you when you pass them on the road. Its is like you belong to a secret that only Wrangler owners know about. The power of this...

In 1993, my husband and I, who always wanted a Jeep Wrangler, began the search.
We live in the snow on a dirt road and needed another 4-wheel drive.
We went to our local dealer and let them know where we found one. They got us a...

Pros: good in mud and fields, good going up hill, good in floods Cons: USELESS BRAKES!! The brakes lock up causing uncontrolled skidding, even at very low speeds. The Bottom Line: steer clear, and watch out if one is coming towards you
"Danger, Wrangler approaching!" After ours has been declared an insurance write off, this is the cry when we see one on the road.
Whilst an excellent tool for trawling through muddy fields, it is, in my opinion, dangerous on the road.
The...

Pros: Goes most places I "need" to. 4x4 a plus in snow. Cons: Guilty feeling when filling the tank. The Bottom Line: I would recommend the YJ to anyone who needs the extra security of 4-wheel drive and a rugged vehicle for going off the beaten path.
I used to own a 1988 Cherokee and had a lot of fun with it, on and off the road. It was basically stock and I took in on deactivated forest roads with those big cross ditches - no problems (and with no winch, lift kit or fancy tires, just careful ...
