Pros: Great fuel mileage and good sized vehicle.
Cons: Weak on steep hills and expensive to rebuild the engine.
The Bottom Line: Great starter vehicle for a single person or a small family. Do take the time and patience to find a good used car. It will be worth the effort.

Pros: big pep in a 1.8 litre with 29-45mpg. easy to work on.
Cons: ten-fifteen mins for heat to get warm on really cold days.
