Pros: Gas mileage, acceleration, parts, repairs, reliability. Cons: Seat belts, ergonomics, alternator/belt issues The Bottom Line: Cheap, basic transportation for someone who doesn't care about looks and can do minor maintenence/repairs by themselves.
I picked up my corsica at a 'budget' car dealers lot on 2/07. It had about 100,000 miles on it and I paid about $2500 for it. Considering the car's age, 2500 bucks seemed to be a bit overpriced for me, but I was in a hurry to get a vehicle, ... read more

Pros: Great engine, great mileage and the radio sounds great for a manufacturer one. Cons: Too small for a full family and trunk cannot haul large items. The Bottom Line: I would recommend this product to a single person, but not to a family, because the interior is too small, but it runs great!
I didn't get this car brand new, in fact I got it as a repairable. When I got it the front driver side fender was banged in along with the driver's door. I replaced both and was on my way! I had this vehicle for about 1 1/2 years and had no problems ... read more

Pros: Engine, Value Cons: Throttle response time, handling The Bottom Line: A great car for a tight budget.
My wife and I have owned this car for 7 months now, and have found it to be very reliable. When purchased, the car had 121,000 miles on it, and it now has 129,000 miles. The only problem we have had is a leaky heater core. The part costs $30, and the ... read more

Pros: Acceleration, steering, trunk release button Cons: Reliability, power equipment, interior controls, etc! The Bottom Line: For the price I paid for the Corsica, which is plagued with inconvenient problems, I could have gotten an older, but more reliable, Honda or Toyota. Now I know!
I've owned this Corsica since 1998. Until 2000 or so, it worked just fine for me. It's a very powerful car, with great acceleration--perfect for zooming past the semi trucks on freeway entrance ramps. To touch on the other "pros" of the car, I also liked ... read more

Pros: reliable car Cons: beginning to need a few repairs in its high mileage/Crumpled in low speed crash The Bottom Line: This car held up great for the job we needed it to do, but we were disappointed in its ability to hold up during a crash.
We purchased this car six years ago when my oldest son turned 16. Since that time, we have put 113,000 miles on it. It is now being driven by our third child.
The car has held up reasonably well. The only real repairs we have had to have ... read more

I bought mine in '95 with 20,000 miles. Now at 108,000 I feel I can do a honest write-up.

Pros: Decent transportation for the price; good performance most of the time Cons: seems to fall apart after 50,000 miles, like most early 90s GM products
I bought one of these in 1994 when I graduated from high school, figuring that it would make decent transportation and save on insurance, being a four door. For the first couple of years, it was an excellent car. The 3.1 L V6 delivers on performance ... read more
