Pros: It gets between 25-26 Mpg in the city, I am not sure of highway.
Cons: Internal Slave cylander in clutch.
The Bottom Line: i recomend this truck, if you want fuel efficency and some space.

Pros: Small, easy to drive
Cons: Engine, valves, brakes, no power, no towing, no lumbar seats
The Bottom Line: Buy a something else, unless you have lots of money and time. Its true what they say about Ford, Fix Or Repair Daily.

Pros: Great condition, dependable, extra power, great gas mileage, smooth running.
Cons: Not much room of course, light on rear wheels, play in steering.
The Bottom Line: Absolutely wonderful truck, I recommend it fully as a first or second vehicle, easy to maintain, enough power with the 4.0V6, and very beautiful looks to match.

Pros: 4.0 v6, head room, towing cap., less $ than other small trucks.
Cons: Not many after market parts compared to S-10, gas mileage in city.
The Bottom Line: The 4.0 v6 is a great engine. The ranger is built solid and will stand up to whatever you throw at it.

Cons: brakes (ABS) light always on, sometimes will go off, minor electrical problems

Cons: Weak transmission, A very inferior vehicle.
The Bottom Line: This is a defective product. If you find one very cheap, be sure and start looking for a spare transmission as soon as you buy the truck.

My 1994 Ranger 4x2 had to have the front brakes replaced just after it was out of warranty and the transmission had to be replaced at 43,000 miles! I bought it new and carefully serviced it at the scheduled intervals. The brakes locked up on the ... read more
