Pros: Fairly reliable, good performance, fun to drive. Cons: Crappy hubcaps, City mileage is lower than average for a 4-cylinder. The Bottom Line: I recommend this car for a first driver or commuter car considering how old it would be by now.
I noticed this car hadn't been reviewed in six years or so, so I figured I'd give it one of those "long term use" reviews. My Altima has 160K miles on it now, purchased with just under 100K four years ago. It's been a great little car, with ... read more

Pros: Roominess, reliability, speed, great-looking car (inside and out). Cons: None really except for recent problems. The Bottom Line: This has been a great car with exception of our recent problems.
My husband bought our 1994 Nissan Altima GXE back in 2000 (used, of course, it only had about 45k miles on it) before we got married. Since then it has become my car and I have loved driving it. We've put just over 100k miles on it since having it. It's ... read more

Pros: Great car for the 10 years it almost lasted. Cons: Died at almost 10 years, mechanic said it is not the first. The Bottom Line: After having it die at not even 10 years I would not suggest buying this car used.
Had I written this review 6 months ago it would have been completely different. I would have told you what a wonderful reliable car it was and probably told you it would be a great car to buy used. But after less than 10 years it died with no warning and ... read more
