I just inherited a Saturn with 54,000 miles on it. I already have more miles than that on my 2004 Outback, and with gas prices soaring, I titled the Saturn. In my first 2,000 miles I'm getting 34mpg, so I'm relieved. The muffler blew in the first ...

Pros: Good gas mileage and wide body makes turning corners easier.
Cons: Back seats don't fold down flat.
The Bottom Line: Wide wheel base makes easy cornering and easy to drive in snow and rain in the NW USA.

Our Saturn wagon is a great work horse. We just bought a dishwasher and it fit in the back easy. We have carried futon beds and huge dressers too. Here is my MPG chart I made. 34.51 MPG 07-23-1999 Kalama, WA. 30.28 MPG 07-28-1999 ...

Pros: great reliability virtually indestructible! good fuel economy
Cons: a little underpowered handling is OK, but could be better no rain gutter above door
The Bottom Line: This little car has been the best investment i've ever made!

I bought my 1994 saturn SL1 in 1996, intending solely to drive it until the new beetle became available. I still have it in 2005, so you can see my plans changed. this was mostly because my poor saturn suffered 4 cosmetic injuries in the first 2 ...

Pros: Roomy, good look, great gas mileage
Cons: If you can find one, please let me know.
The Bottom Line: I would suggest anybody to buy this car. Single, family, anybody. It's a great ride and it fits all types.

I recently bought a used 1994 Saturn SL. When I first went looking for a car, I had certain things in mind. First was the look of the car overall. Then usability. Did the inside fit or was it cramped? How about air bags? How about stereo? And did it have ...

Pros: Everything!

The Bottom Line: I love it, and I'm sure if you got one, you'd love it too.

I got a 1994 Saturn SL1 as part of my 18th birthday present. We weren't even looking for a Saturn, I was just looking at cars. I preferred a Toyota or a Honda, just because of the reliability. So when I stopped by this car dealership and saw this cute ...

Pros: Sporty, good gas mileage, quite hard to dent!

If you want a sporty car for a great price then Saturn is for you. I bought my 1994 SC1 last January at 98,800 miles, after driving it for 3 months, I still like it! The SC1 is a great car for the money although it does have its ups and downs, but no...

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 5.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Very reliable, comfortable, long life, low maintenance costs
Cons: wider turn radius
The Bottom Line: I would recommend the 1994 Saturn SL series to anyone looking to buy a low priced, very realiable car.

I was the proud owner of a 1994 Saturn SL2 Twin Cam (Medium Red) purchased new from the dealer until last month when it was - sadly - stolen from my front yard. The car was very reliable over it's 139,000 mile lifetime, and I had expected to get another...

Pros: TONS of cargo space, fun to drive, smooth ride
Cons: Vision can be a problem in certain situations, weak accelerator
The Bottom Line: Want lots of room but not a huge van? This is the car for you.

This car is great for hauling people or stuff. It gets great gas mileage, and it looks pretty good too (for a station wagon.)
I bought one of these about 3 years ago and was wonder how other people felt about it. No one has written anything, so...

Pros: Great mileage, reliable, durable
Cons: road noise and many squeaks and rattles
The Bottom Line: Worth the money, its not perfect but overall my experience has been a positive one.

I bought my 1994 SL used 5 years ago with 58,000 KM. on the odometer. I presently have 175,000 on the car now and still runs the same as it did 5 years ago. I am a sales representative and use my car primarily for work. Mostly stop and go city...

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 3.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Great on gas
Cons: junk all the way around
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this car if it has less than 80,000 miles.

My mother purchesed a 1994 Saturn SL1 in september of 2000. It had 102,000 miles and we only paid 1,300 for it. Let me say this car has been quite an ordeal. For starters, the car is set to low to the ground, so when we pull up to parking lots or fast...

What some people won't do to get invited to a picnic.
Creature comfort: I have driven all 135,000 miles on this car. I am 5'8" 190 pounds. I found the front seat to be Very comfortable. The back seat is way to small for anyone but children. Adequate...

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 2.0 Recommended: No

Pros: Good gas mileage, plenty of room, nice construction
Cons: Don't ever get in a wreck, this will not save you.
The Bottom Line: Good car...HORRIFIC crash result

This will be a short one, but, don't ever wreck this car. I will never own another Saturn after my accident in this one. I lost control of my Saturn on admittedly rather slick pavement, BUT, when I was hit (by another Saturn, same make and model)...
