Author's Product Rating: 50 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Everything I can think of.
Cons: Manual transmission did not come in an LE.
The Bottom Line: When a 14 year old Corolla can be virtually trouble free, what else can somebody ask for? I highly recommend any Corolla.

I bought my 1994 Corolla with 60k miles on it from Florida (12 hours away) in 2007 October. I wanted a stick shift DX with all options possible and clean/stock. I also have a Land Cruiser and a V6 Camry and this was supposed to be our MAIN car since it ... read more

Mr. Yoshida, just my brother's standard Corolla.

by
Feb 6, 2007 - Updated Feb 17, 2007 (A Helpful review)

Author's Product Rating: 40 Recommended: Yes

Pros: good gas mileage, fun to drive, manual makes up for engine size
Cons: not a family car, radio hard to remove
The Bottom Line: This is a good car for a reasonable price. However, this is a car for single people or couples without kids.

This is my brother's car and as such I don't drive it often. In fact I've only driven the thing once because it is a manual and I'm not very good at driving manuals. My brother enjoys this car a lot. Mainly because it uses about half as much gas as his ... read more

The Bottom Line: A car that will last.

I bought my 1994 Toyota Corolla DX in 1997, super low miles (8500). I'm up to 180,000 today and am overall very pleased with the car. It's had a few problems, but still it's one of my better car experiences. NEGATIVES: interior door handles (all ... read more

Pros: never had a problem!
Cons: Too small for our growing family
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this car to anyone who wants great value for a small price.

I owned a 1994 Corolla and absolutely loved it! I had it from 1997-2000(March) The only reason I let it go was because I had a a small baby and another due soon. I did not like the way the one car seat was so cramped din the back seat and the thought of ... read more

Author's Product Rating: 50 Recommended: Yes

Pros: 178K, LE, no problems, great fuel mpg, added K&N filter
Cons: You'll get tired of it before you can wear it out...noise is the only con.
The Bottom Line: If it's been well maintained and not wrecked...buy it!...the little car is well built to last and last...

I have the 25th Anniv. edition LE...currently 178K miles...it has comfortable front seating (I use it as a daily 50 mile commuter)...rear seating a little tight(my children were small when I first bought it so it worked well for me then)...solid body, ... read more

Author's Product Rating: 50 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Great gas mileage, reliable, and durable.
Cons: Not much in the way of acceleration.
The Bottom Line: Routine maintenance including regular oil changes has made my 1994 Corolla nearly indestructible. I highly recommend it.

My 1994 Toyota Corolla has been well maintained and at 165,000 miles runs great. I whole heartedly expect it to turnover 200,000. Not only does it run well, I'm amazed at how well the cloth interior has held up. No rips or tears and the ... read more

This Corolla was "passed down" from my sister when she graduate from college and bought a new car. It's completely a base model - no A/C, no power anything, no CD player, etc. Since then, I have driven it for 3 years and put 50K on it. I have driven ... read more

Author's Product Rating: 30 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Good engine response, decent handling
Cons: Noisy suspension, weak air conditioning, so-so brakes
The Bottom Line: Good car to own, as long as the car wasn't used as a cab.

I drive a 1994 Corolla in the Philippines, being in a tropical country, this may be a different review from your usual U.S. climate/condition reviews. The car is OK for its price, it handles well, the engine is quite responsive, 115HP is ... read more

Pros: Quick, reliable, great on gas, fun to drive
Cons: Who designed this thing??? And who forgot to give it features?
The Bottom Line: Get over it's looks and buy one, because you won't find a cheaper car that drives and handles better than this one. Cheers to Toyota!

Hey, if you are looking for an honest opinion about the 1994-1997 Toyota Corolla, listen to mine. I love my Corolla, and that is in spite of the fact that I had such a terrible experience with my previous Toyota (a 1987 Tercel hatchback) that at one ... read more

I decided to write this article for the Rodiem write-off on the 1994 Toyota Corolla. Why? Well, it was one of the few cars I have spent some time in that I haven't already written about. Cover your mouth when you yawn. I know it's a Toyota, but come ... read more

I bought this car in 1997, knowing nothing about the model or make. It is truly a dream come true, buying a used car and not having hardly any repairs. In 4 years we have had to do very minor things to the car. We have 120,000 miles on the car and it ... read more
