Pros: Great engine, drivetrain and suspension...A driver's car! Cons: Tight quarters, Repairs (when you do need them) tend to be costly due to the BMW tag
MY OPINIONS
Most of what you'll read from my ratings are based solely on my opinions and will not discuss deep details regarding car specifications. Detailed specs can, of course, be found at other websites such as

Pros: Balanced chassis, smooth power, screaming engine, discreet looks Cons: Discreet looks, longwinded gearbox The Bottom Line: More discreet and refined than the original, but still a surgically precise, motorsport bred weapon.
Every so often in the automotive industry, a car comes along that totally redefines a segment and shakes the establishment to it's core. Enter the BMW M3. For the better part of three decades, the 3 series has been the car to beat in it's segment with ...

Pros: Excellent handling, great gas mileage, BMW Quality and Design. Low insurance. Cons: Stereo lacks bass, not as fast as a 325i or 328i. The Bottom Line: BMW's are fine automobiles, and this is no exception. A used 318i is a good choice for a used vehicle.
I must admit that I am somewhat biased to BMW's, since I have two BMW's in my garage presently, and I've owned 4 others. But I've also owned a variety of other makes, both European, American, and Japanese.
I purchased 5 speed manual '95 BMW...

Pros: Engine, Suspension, Reliability, Comfort Cons: Not for the overly tall
I've wanted a BMW car ever since I sold the BMW bike. Weather, traffic, and geography conspired to push me to sell the bike. In it's place, however, we put a used 1995 325i 4-door. New baby required the 4-doors, my wife required something with ABS,...

Pros: Incredible handling, powerful acceleration, all luxury items, beautiful lines Cons: Requires regular BMW checkups to keep it in top shape, insurance rates The Bottom Line: Anyone who wants a sports car that is practical with decent MPG (28 on hwy), this is your car. It is exotic, rare and quick. A true German autobahn car.
I bought my '95 Avusblau M3 about a month ago. I have to say it is the best car I have ever driven, let alone owned. Previously I had owned a '96 Civic which was well modified. The suspension on the Civic was replaced by a whole (expensive)...

Pros: Engine, chassis, quality are top of the line. Excellent handling. Good durability. Cons: Repairs can be expensive. The Bottom Line: This is one of the best all around automobiles ever made. Stylish, quick, and nimble. Like a prize fighter in his prime.
The BMW E36 3 series does it all. Never has there been a car so equally capable of jaunt to the local supermarket or a spirited chase through various back roads (not that I'm saying that you should break the speed laws of this fine nation, but...)....

Pros: Amazing overall performance Cons: Expensive parts and compromised engine performance
The BMW M3 (1995 model year and up) is one of the worlds most impressive vehicles. And as a used vehicle, the price makes it attainable by even those of us not blessed with a trust fund or family fortune. I'll state right off the bat that I have a...

It looks great, unmodified, in it's original form.
It absolutely loves to be driven. Corners like...

Pros: Incredible performance, handling and comfort Cons: slightly high monthly payment for a 95, but worth it. Hard to get any work done because I just want to drive.
I just bought a sleek black, sexy 325is with 61000 miles on it. From what I understand, that's just getting started for a BMW. I have never owned a vehicle like it. It's by far the most responsive car I have had the pleasure of controlling. It never...

Pros: Power, braking, and handling Cons: Can't drive it enough.
The E36 M3 is a fantastic Driving School and Lapping Day track car that also doubles as a great daily driver. The car has plenty of power and handles like it's on rails. I bought my M3 after owning a 1994 E36 325iS. I drove an M3 at a Driving School...

My first car, I bought last june 2004, It came with a little over 100,000 miles on it and I've since then put over 10,000 miles. I have the 4cyl 318i model. And I must say before I begin that I've mainly driven a few American model rental cars such as ...

Pros: Handles great, no maintenance issues, collectors item Cons: Everyone will think you spent a lot more than you did.
I bought my 95 M3 two and a half years ago, when it had 40,000 miles on it. Today it has over 78,000 and it still drives like the day I bought it. It is by far the best handling sports sedan/coupe that I have ever driven (and that includes a lot of BMW's...

My father gave me his 95 M3 when he just bought his new 2000 BMW 328 Coupe. The M3 is a fast reliable sports car. Handles good at any speed, and is also great for just around town driving. It's the perfect everyday sports car. The price tag is quite...
