Perfect Surf Vehicle/Camper

by
Apr 30, 2009 (A Very Helpful review)

Author's Product Rating: 50 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Styling (convertible ability) a real head-turner, power, luxury appointments
Cons: fuel economy (but it's an SUV with a big V8)
The Bottom Line: IF, and that is a big "if", you can find one, and it's what you need buy it.  It is a great SUV that doesn't know it's an SUV.

I was driving down the beach back in mid-February when I passed a sharp looking burgandy SUV, upon closer inspection I realized that it was a mid-90's Ford Bronco.  I have been keeping an eye out for a new vehicle, with four wheel drive ... read more

Pros: Held up well for the miles. Everything works. No rust worth mentioning.
Cons: Miles on Bronco high A tall climb for my 89 year old DAD.
The Bottom Line: There are some really great Broncos out there. Just have to look. They hold up well as all Fords do.

12/1/07 Just got a 95 Bronco XLT with very little surface rust that I fixes in an hour. The Bronco started life in Pannama City,FL,went to Arizona and then made it to Iowa where it wore a snow plow for a while...so the suspention was beafed up,to ... read more

Author's Product Rating: 40 Recommended: Yes

Pros: rugged, great offroad, strong engine
Cons: gas mileage
The Bottom Line: if you want a rugged truck and dont care about having the nameplate of a more accepted suv, such as jeep, lexus, etc. this is it.

i traded my 2000 expedition in for a 95 bronco. why? well the expedition is a nightmare to park with its big size. its also high on insurance. offroad it felt really bouncy, more like a station wagon. the bronco is more powerful, better offroad, easier ... read more

Pros: older styling

I have owned several Ford SUV's starting with an 85 Bronco II. Then I went to an 89 on to a 91 Mazda Navajo and now the 95 Bronco. I have loved them all. I was looking for a car with a rear window that went down so that my dogs could get air without ... read more

I bought my 1995 Bronco XLT used. I bought it for the reason that I do not like driving cars and I have always been a truck person. I love my Bronco to death, but I have had my share of problems with it. I have owned it now for about 2 years and I ... read more

Author's Product Rating: 50 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Rugged 4x4 ability
Cons: Difficult to access back seat

I too own a 1995 fullsize Ford Bronco XLT. It is about to turn 80k miles and thus far has been extremely reliable. It makes an excellent "all-around" 4x4 vehicle. I would say that I am envious of the gas mileage. I get roughly 14 in combined ... read more

In my line of work, I need a dependable and reliable vehicle, that looks good, but can also handle what I put it through. I test drove a few cars and SUV's before falling in love with my Bronco. There was no head room in the other vehicles, and basically ... read more

We purchased a 95 Ford Bronco in Jan 99 with very high miles on it. We only have had one problem with it and that was the fuel pump needed to be replaced. It now has 172k and it is still going strong. It is definitely a rugged truck. Where we live ... read more

I am Eric and I found my 1995 Bronco XLT in Rock Springs Wyoming last summer. It had only 59,000 miles on it. That's very low for Wyoming. The Bronco is a great all around every day driver. Most of the time I drive back home on weekends. But I take it ... read more
