A Gentleman's Cruiser

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 5.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: The engine. Interior comfort. Stereo system.
Cons: Very poor traction, even for RWD. Wipers have occasionally refused to "park".
The Bottom Line: Excellent automobile. Great engine, extremely comfortable, beautiful exterior. I wish Lincoln would bring it back.

I was a bit skeptical of this car when I first acquired it since my previous cars had been smaller and more sporting Japanese or German cars but the Lincoln won me over rather quickly. The car has many good aspects but the one that simply out-shines ...

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 4.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: luxurious, safe, guaranteed satisfaction and long lasting
Cons: absolutely none

The Lincoln Mark VIII may sound like a somewhat extravagant car for a seventeen year old to drive, but it's features and quality really do the job for any driver. I started driving this somewhat large sports car when I first got my license. It is bigger...

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 5.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Powerful, beautiful and economical
Cons: Rear end traction is substandard on wet roads

The Lincoln Mark VIII not only looks like a responsive, high powered sports car, it is. I fell in love with the Mark VIII back in 1992, but didn't purchase one until 1997.

The car is powerful, quick off the mark and very stable at high...

Pros: Power, luxury, smoothness ... and really cool

The Bottom Line: try it ... you'll like it ... no, you'll LOVE it

Ok, I admit it ... I have been a fan of high performance luxury German cars and have rarely ever con ...

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 5.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Elegant, Affordable, Luxurious, Handles with Ease
Cons: Wish I'd bought one sooner!

I was shopping for a Thunderbird, and spotted a Lincoln Mark VII on the dealer's lot. At first, I thought I could not afford it, so why bother. To my surprise, it is very affordable and just what I needed. I have owned several types of vehicles in my...

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 5.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: smooth and quite ride
Cons: back seat a little cramped

Purchased my used Mark VIII over 3 years ago. It handles like a dream! I keep it maintained and serviced and I'm on 126K miles. It is still running strong, with a smooth and quite ride. Mine is fully packed with all the luxuries. I've gotten...

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 5.0 Recommended: Yes
Pros: Great power & Style
Cons: No room for back passenger, need to be carefull with tranny & suspension
Great car. But you need really to take a good care of it.... especially with tranny... it is fast... Never had a problem with electric. This car have a cobra Engine & it never leaks.. just treat it as it your wife or son... Takes a lot of gas.

Be careful when you buy it. Check the tranny first, them air suspension, then electric part of the car (climat, a/c, windows, mirrows, seats, etc.) If all works, then take it, as it not going to break....

Pros: just perfect
Cons: air ride system tends to leak
This has to be the best all around car i have been in. The car flat out hauls leaving those pesky honda far behind. The ride quality if perfect with lincolns air ride system it seems as if you where riding on air. The leather seat are so comfertable you would wish you could watch the superbowl in the car. Sound comes form a JBL 8 speaker system with an optional 10 disc cd changer and is crystal clear.

There engine are very unqiue to the mark 8. Powering the mark 8 with a 4.6 intech engine producing 280hp and 300lb or torque it can prople this hot rod lincoln to speeds well over 120.

Pros: #1 POWER #2 COMFORT #3 STYLE
Cons: # AIR SUSPENSION (COIL CONVERSION) #2 TRANSMISSION PAY EXTRA FOR A "REAL" PERFORMANCE REBUILD!!!!
I will try to to keep this to the point I am reviewing a 13 year old car i want to say it still excites me the power is awsome and even more so with the modifacations the average 1st gen MARK VIII is worth about $3000.00 give or take but still has great style great comfort and greater power i probably could afford a more expensive car but would spend at least 10,000.00 or more to get something close to this leval of luxury and performance bottom line it is "THE BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK"!!!!!!!!!!!!
