Pros: Drivers seat is very adjustable, part-time four wheel drive, folding rear seats. Cons: Poor gas mileage, little head room. The Bottom Line: Great traction in the winter; plenty of room for ski equipment; good on long trips.
I'm 6'1", 200 lbs and I've had my Pathfinder for over two years and I've loved every minute of it. I have no problem getting up hills whether there is snow, ice, or rain. The part-time 4WD allows me to add traction when I need it, but still get better ... read more

Pros: Quality, Value for Dollar Cons: Weak engine, known manufacturing issues The Bottom Line: If you are SUV shopping, do NOT overlook the Pathfinder ... you'll be sorry!
Recently our company decided we didn't need our company cars anymore, and it was finally time for me to purchase my own vehicle. I just bought a house (fixer-upper) and found my Taurus just couldn't handle 2x4's. So, with that in mind, my quest for a ... read more

Pros: Roomy, rugged and comfortable. Cons: Needs more horsepower! The Bottom Line: While most so-called SUVs have been "city-fied", the '95 Pathfinder retains its off-road roots. No seat-warmers here... just rugged good looks and durability.
I've been lusting after this truck since my brother originally purchased it. Since then, he's logged some 63,000 miles on it and kept it in absolutely cherry condition. (He also let me have it for a steal!)
Since then, I've managed to eek ... read more

Pros: After 105,000 miles, there's virtually nothing wrong. Cons: Fuel economy, weak engine. And, no air bags. The Bottom Line: If you are looking for a used SUV within the 1993-95 range, make Pathfinder the top of your list.
I had this Pathfinder for six years and I loved it ever since. After 105,000 miles, the SE 4x4 Pathfinder has given me a lot of reasons to "Enjoy the Ride" as Nissan says in its earlier advertisements. The reliability of this SUV is awesome. No major ... read more

Pros: made in Japan! Cons: gas hog
I never thought I'd own an SUV, much less enjoy it, but I've been driving my 1995 Pathfinder for a few months now and am mostly very happy with it. I'm well-acquainted with the previous owner, so I have a fair idea of its history, even having had the ... read more

Aah, where to begin?
I purchased my 1995 Nissan Pathfinder SE-V6 used, almost 2 years ago (36K miles) for $16,800. I had always loved that body style, and had wanted one for years. Problem was I was in college and could not afford to purchase one ... read more

Pros: Comfortable and fun to drive. Cons: No air bags, can have annoying "little" things go wrong.
We bought our 1995 Pathfinder SE V6 4x4 brand new. We looked at practically every type of SUV and decided on the Pathfinder mostly because of what we got for the money. It now has just about 70,000 miles on it and we have had some problems but they ... read more

Pros: Reliability Cons: Bad wind resistance The Bottom Line: This truck will get you there and back. The number one reason for getting this truck is reliability, not looks.
I love my Pathfinder! It is reliable. It is durable. But it could be better. Oh well, no since in fretting, after all, it is 5 years old. My truck has 96,000 miles on it, and I have had minimal problems, so I'm not complaining. But just incase ... read more

Pros: Cheap Cons: Can't Climb Sandy Hills, Can't Mud Bogg, Can't Pull much, Can't accelerate rapidly, Etc.
I don't want to hurt your ideals regarding the pathfinder, but I can honestly say that this SUV is more or less a minivan. The stock tires are not very good, and the overall power/torque ratio is dramatically embarrassing. The handling capabilities on ... read more
