Pros: Good on gas, looked good, spacious interior/trunk. Folding seat in the back. Cons: Huge repair bills. Bad interior design. No power windows. Rusts out fast. The Bottom Line: I would never buy another Sunfire. They were thrown together with cheap parts and a bad design.
I throughly researched this car before I bought it two years ago and at that time, there seemed to be only minor problems with it. A few people had written reviews to state that the car made cracking and popping sounds...not the engine but the interior. ... read more

Pros: Fun, safe, sporty Cons: After 150,000 miles, interior started to get a little noisy. The Bottom Line: Any engine problems were covered 100% by the dealership, even beyond the warranty. I wish I still had this car!
I loved my 1995 Sunfire! After much cajolling, I bought a different car and passed this one down to my daughter who was going away to college. After about 9 months of driving it, she was in a horrific accident - flipped the car end over end, landing ... read more

Pros: cute sporty little car, great acceleration for a 4 cyl. priced to buy Cons: easily destructible! The Bottom Line: I think it's a good car in the end because it's priced right for today's average income, it looks good, and the gas mileage is right!
Back in '95 when I got this car I was so excited. Such a cool looking little car and everybody wanted one. The car handles exceptionally well, and has great gas mileage. I can drive 265 highway miles without worrying about filling up the tank. ... read more

Pros: This 1995 Pontiac Sunfire car is a good-looking car, and has a nice console design. Cons: This car is very dangerous out in the road, and has required numerous repairs. The Bottom Line: Beware not to buy this type of car; otherwise you may experience a great deal of repair expenses and endanger yourself and others.
When I purchased this used 1995 Pontiac Sunfire car, it had several problems. Whenever I would brake, the car would jump and skid forward. There was a continuous knocking sound in the front of the car. In addition, the air conditioner failed to work. ... read more
