1996 Chevrolet Impala

Pros: More than adequate power, Outstanding looks, Leather seating, Handles like a sports car.
Cons: Lousy paint quality, Mechanical failures- heater cores (5), water pumps (4), optispark distributor (2)Etc.

I recently bought my second Impala SS. The first one was purchased used with 11000 miles on it in 1997. It now has 205000 on it and is still running strong. I wouldn't have bought another car except I found a 96 with only 75000 on it for a good price. If

I HAVE OWNED AFOREMENTIONED 96 SS SINCE 97. It now has 85,000 mi on it . It still burns no oil,runs like a raped ape and was able to withstand ex-wife and teenager abuse. I did buy aftermarket tires due to high cost Goodyears everyone trys to push.

Pros: Too many to list!
Cons: None to speak of considering the price of the car.

This car is holding its value like that seen with the '57 Chevy. If you want a safe, reliable, roomy, stylish car with a lot of get-up-and-go, this is the car for you. I cannot say enough good about the overall dependability and value of this car. I
