Pros: Styling, fit and finish, front seat comfort trunk usability Cons: Design renders many repair tasks expensive! The Bottom Line: Overall enjoyment and cost of ownership for a well maintained car should be good.
One of the largest investments people make is in their cars. Normally their home is the largest, with education and transportation a close second or third. Just like a home or education, those investments include not only writing checks every month, ...

Pros: Sharp looks, premium sound CD system, roomy for 5( best thing really), power everything. Cons: Stuff breaking down right after warranty ends. Heavier than usual power steering. The Bottom Line: Pay the lowest price possible because of potential problems;cooling fan break down, transmission "bump shift".
Also, the bucket seats have poor lumbar support.
Our 1996 Hyundai Sonata 10th Anniversary Edition sedan (18,000 miles -dark blue) was totaled in an accident in the summer of 1997. The 1996 Chrysler LXI (23,000 miles - black) was the best similarly equipped, "but larger"(as directed by my husband), ...

Pros: Great handling, powerful engine, and a few others. Cons: Paint job stinks, transmission sounds typical of Chrysler, other sounds. The Bottom Line: In conclusion, it has proven to be a great car and I would recommend it to anyone.
My dad was looking for a second car for me to drive. I needed something to commute to college with and also do things while he was at work such as pick up my mother from work. We looked at the Ford Taurus and the Chevy Lumina as well but we had limited ...

Pros: Excellent handling, amazing burn outs. Cons: Not reliable.
After the hubcaps flew off on the Cirrus at about 15k miles, everything went downhill. The LED radio display doesn't work anymore, the trans' went at about 60k. No matter how hard you push the brakes, the car barely slows down. The discs and drums and...

Pros: Smooth ride, roomy, comfortable Cons: Suspect brakes
I have a Chrysler Cirrus that I have been driving for three years now. Overall, I am very happy with it. It is very roomy and comfortable. There is plenty of room in the back seat for passengers and the trunk is rather large as well. It rides...

Pros: Styling, Room, Handling, Price, Comfort Cons: Road noise, lack of power
I bought my '96 Cirrus LXi for Christmas in '95. The first time I saw a picture of a Cirrus I knew I had to have one--an excellent looking vehicle. The interior is very room and the "cab forward" design makes the front seat area seem very...

Pros: Nice ride, fun to drive Cons: constant maintenance issues, has lots of small problems all the time The Bottom Line: I would not recommend this car, too many service problems costing too much $$$.
I purchased a 1996 Cirrus from my grandfather in October of 1999, it had only 35,000 miles when I purchased it. Since then I have invested over $3,000 in servicing the car, $2,200 just in A/C work alone. I have had the transmission serviced, the airbag...

Pros: rides well, low maintenance Cons: pricey
I bought a 1996 Chrysler Cirrus In December 1995, the first time I ever bought a really new car at the beginning of the model year. I fell in love with it as I passed it on the lot, and to this day, I still love my car! This is my fourth car, and I have...

Pros: Handling, Ride Cons: Back seat
I have a 1996 Cirrus and it is the best handling car I have ever had. It has left Ford Mustangs and Chevolets in the dust on sharp curves. Climate control is good. Back seat is a little to flat (like a GM car} which leaves you floping around. Good...

Pros: Durability, reliability Cons: Minor repairs, Sluggish starts in cold weather
I am satisfied with my 1996 Chrysler Cirrus which I purchased in May of 1999. I bought it in emaculate condition and I am pleased with theway it has held up. I am an 18 year old high school student so I probably drive it rougher than it should be drivven...

Pros: Economic car disguised as a luxury car Cons: Chrysler tranny should be treated within reason
The day after Thanksgiving 1998, my formally trusty VW Golf finally "gave up the ghost". It was my first brand new car that I bought in 1989 and it lasted for 230,000 miles. In it last year, my ol' VW was beginning to be a drain on my...

My family bought this car three years ago because everyone suggested that Cirrus was one of the best cars for the price we were willing to pay. The professional reviews found that there was nothing wrong with this particular Chrysler. So we decided to...

Pros: Pretty Cons: Piece of trash
My wife and I bought our Cirrus in 1996 because we wanted a new vehicle. We were riding by the Chrysler lot and saw this pretty blue car shaped like a space ship. She had to have it, so we traded in our 91 Honda Accord. After 2 days we had to return it...

Pros: floats, looks great, factory stereo amazing, 4 wheel independent suspension Cons: shifter recall, paint peel on bumpers always, hates the cold
I like this car because it rolls like a boat and feels like your in the sky. Handling is worth the cost alone. For a big car, handles great. Beast From The East
