I've had a 1988 Landcruiser for the past ten years. My wife has been secretly jealous because I've never had any problems with it, unlike her Mercedes.
We finally traded her old car in for a '96 and now I'm the jealous one. It rides like a ... read more

Pros: All terrain driving Cons: Small amount of leg room in second row seats, high price

Pros: SIZE, DEPENDABILITY, Cons: GAS MILAGE
After owning a pathfinder, classic Range rover, Newer Range Rover 4.6, and a 97 4Runner, I would have to say that the Land Cruiser is in it's very own class. That class marked "Dependable". I bought my LC with 125,000 miles on it and it is now

Pros: Style, handling, comfort, solid feel, quiet interior Cons: gas mileage is poor, but you save on lack of repairs
I purchased my 95 LC with 126k already on it for $15,000. That was three years and 60k miles ago. I love this vehicle! It simply does not break, have had to make only minor repairs and those were mostly easy enough to do myself. I love the widebody looks
