by jaglovier
Aug 30 '08

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 4.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Trunk Space, Gas Efficient, Reliable
Cons:

Price of tires for 15" wheels, back seat space

The Bottom Line: A good car for the current value. I have not had any trouble with the car and Acura has a good reputation for building reliable cars.

I have owned my 97 Acura Integra for just about a year. I am the second or third owner and it currently has about 81,000 miles on it. It is an automatic, two door with leather interior, aluminum wheels and a four cylinder motor. The car has been ...

Pros: Great handling, very fun to drive, yet still as functional as most cars it's size.
Cons: Big rear, sometimes have to look around the side to see where I'm backing up.
The Bottom Line: Enjoy it while you're young.

1997 Integra GS. I've owned it for over a year now with about 175 000 km on it today. The last 40 000 were driven by me so you can do the math and figure out how much I love driving it. The only problems I've had with this car were that one of my seat ...

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 5.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Power curve. Handling. Looks. Gas mileage (in spite of the power curve) Reliability
Cons: Road noise. Lack of power seat. storage. No Cup holder in the back seat
The Bottom Line: Great little daily driver that also affords tons of fun on the highway and side-streets. A GREAT buy even after many years of usage.

A hot little car, it will not make you want to buy another one for commuting. I have made multiple 1500 mile trips in it and never felt uncomfortable. Great sleeper - Does not look loud and yet is fast enough to blow the doors off poseur racers. It's ...

No compromises here!

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 5.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Great styling, surprising amount of power, but also great gas mileage.
Cons: High parts and maintenance prices.
The Bottom Line: With an Integra GS-R, you get the power of a Mustang, with the gas mileage of a Civic. Can you say....'No-Brainer'?

The problem with buying a car is, you have to make compromises. If you go after a sports car, you'll get great performance, but you are going to give us ride quality and roominess. If you go after a small car, you are going to get great gas mileage,...

Pros: fun to drive, looks good
Cons: small backseat
The Bottom Line: This is a fun car for somebody who doesnt want to spend too much on a sports car.

I bought my 1997 Integra used, with over 30,000 miles already on it. After years of driving a lot, I have put almost 70,000 miles on it and it drives like the day I gotit. I love this car! ALthough it is small and the backseat is too small if you have...

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 5.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Nimble handling, very reliable, great gas mileage, built by Honda.
Cons: Loved by car thiefs
The Bottom Line: If you can find a well maintained 97 GS-R for a decent price, than I would strongly recommend this vehicle for a high dose of the "fun factor" and reliability.

I leased my 97 GS-R from brand new. I run a business and prvious to this car, I leased a new car every 3 or 4 years. Being a bit of a car fanatic, I have always taken pride in maintaining my vehicles very well. Well, the time came to trade this car in,...

My GS-R - a modern pocket rocket

by haevolution
Sep 08 '01

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 5.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Acceleration, Handling, Gas Mileage, Appearance, Reliability
Cons: Very high insurance rates.
The Bottom Line: Why buy an Acura NSX when you can have an Integra GS-R for $60,000 less?

I love my Integra. I have owned two other Integras from this generation and they were both as reliable and fun to drive as my 1997 GS-R. Prior to the Integras, I owned a Honda CRX and the Integra was the logical automotive move.

The Integra...

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 5.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Fast, great handling, gas-mileage, alot of aftermarket parts, reliable, and cheap
Cons: noisey cruiser, lack of efficient soundproofing, everyone has one, AC is weak

This car simpl put is a gem when it comes to front-wheel drive, sport compact performance.

It's quick (7 sec 0-60 stock), has great handling, fits alot of cargo, and is Honda Civic cheap at the pump.

The Bottom Line: This is a great car, it has proven me excellent reliability, excellent economy, excellent handling, and excellent looks.

I bought this car brand new in 1997 after thorough searching for a car. It is a safe, practical, reliable, yet wont put you to sleep type of car. Those were the reasons I chose to buy this car.

My car now sits a 82,000 miles...

Great Car, Great Car Company

Aug 07 '00

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 5.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Great 2-door coupe
Cons: Acceleration slow at high speeds.

Handling on the Integra GS-R is quick with acceleration excellent in the lower gears. Unfortunately things begin to peak out in moving from 90-125, but this is a minor quibble. With the rear-spoiler standard in GS-R, handling is great at high speeds, and...
