Pros: Quality, ride, comfort, safety, luxuary, price Cons: lack a little power, less sporty than a BMW
I bought a used Audi A6 6 months ago form a VW AUDI dealership. Here is how it went...

Pros: Handling power, over all perfomance Cons: I will let you know
This is another one of those family sedans with a kick butt engine and amazing handling. It is technically classified as a luxury sedan, but should be classified as a sport sedan. I took this car to my mother's house and to get there you have to take...

Pros: Safety, comfort Cons: Price
I have owned an Audi A-6 since October 1997. The car is a dream. Although I have only a 4 cylinder Turbo 1.8 liter T engine the performance is equal to a much higher horse power. I drive in Europe at cruise speeds of 125 MPH to 130MPH and have had the...

Pros: Reliable, comfortable, refined. Cons: Lacks ommph. The Bottom Line: A premium German luxury sedan is ideal for a long highway trip but not well suited for the dragstrip.
I bought my car certified pre-owned, just coming off lease in September 2001. To this date, I have had one mechanical problem - the water pump failed and was replaced under warranty.
I have every available option except the Bose sound system....

Pros: Blistering highway acceleration. Supple leather throughout. Sports car handling. Symbol of status. All wheel drive. Cons: Cup holders under armrest. Firm German ride. Lack of low end power ONLY! The Bottom Line: Drove them all.... Only car in it's class without a hint of claustraphobia in it! I am 6'2 240 lbs and can ride in the back seat with no problems.
Body is sleek and contemporary. Trunk space is huge! Nice 16" factory rims with the 1997. From the front looks very similar to an A8. True German road car. Blistering highway performance feels at home at speeds sixty and up, pulls to high speeds like a...

Pros: Excellent quality and traction. Feels luxurious. Cons: I think the full time 4WD draws back on the power.
Bought this '97 Audi A6 Quattro after wrecking a 4WD pick up. Was tired of driving big clunky autos for the benefit of 4WD and thought I'd try a luxury car for a change. I am not a beleiver in buying new cars, and for what these things are currently selling for, I believe you you can get more than you could expect in a new Big 3 car for about a quarter of the cost. And for traction and control in the snow; beats SUVs and 4wd pick ups hands down.

Pros: Very well built, incredible handling, wonderful car Cons: 22mpg average, requires premium gas
I never was an Audi fan, thought of them as boring, over-priced vehicles. Then, my boss offered to sell his 97 Audi A6 at an incredible price when he was moving to Europe . At the time I had a 92 Accord which was living its final days and the offer was too good to pass. So I bought the Audi without loving the way it looked.
Having driven it for 9 months now, I can very comfortably state that it is the best car I ever drove (not owned, drove) in my life. The level of quality is incredible. It drives so nice, you have to drive to understand it. And the full-time 4-wheel drive is out of this world.
I do business trips a lot and end up driving brand new rental cars, and it is always such a pleasant feeling to get back into my 7 year old, 120k mile Audi after driving junky rentals out there.
Yes, it costs to service it but good things in life always come at a cost. But mine has been very reliable with no problems.
