I own a 1997 Dodge Avenger Sport and absolutely love it. I've always wanted one and just had to have it, and for a 10 year old car, its still kickin. I got rid of a newer car for one. When I saw it I just had to have it. The outside look of the ... read more

Pros: nice variation of available colors, beautiful body styling, inexpensive used price, good cornering. Cons: I-4 has zero pickup; you can't help but feel something's gonna break any second now. The Bottom Line: it is a wonderful car for any automotive enthusiast, but it does have its share of problems.

Pros: sleek style, roominess, handling Cons: Dodge d/c in 2001, gas mileage, steering wheel options The Bottom Line: One should definitely consider a Dodge Avenger when shopping for a used vehicle..whether you choose the basic, Sport, or ES..you'll always be driving in unconditional style!
Anyone interested in purchasing a Dodge Avenger must first consider the fact that they will now have to buy a used model. In 2001, Dodge decided to discontinue the Avenger and substitute it with their opinion of a sleeker Stratus Coupe...much to the ... read more

Okay, I'm not going to make this lengthy. I recently purchased a pre-owned 1997 Avenger ES at a local dealership. The car is decked out with all options except the bigger engine. (I have the 2.0 liter V6). I come from a long line of POS late models, ... read more

I bought my 97 Avenger ES new in early 1998. At first, I loved it - I was only disappointed with the gas mileage, which was about 16 city 18 highway. Even on long interstate trips it never got much over 20 mpg.
Over the last year, with about ... read more

I love my Avenger. I bought my 1997 Avenger NEW in 1999. To make a long story short, it was a leftover that never got sold. It had 100 miles on it when I got it and so I got a great deal. I almost bought one 4 years ago, but was trading in my Daytona ... read more
