Pros: Excellent performance, good handling, fancy body style. Low maintenance. Cons: GT has more power than built to handle. Squeaks and creaks w/age (only audible inside). The Bottom Line: A well made Ford product. Excellent performance, good handling when playing nice at high speeds. Superior factory paint job. Squeeks and creaks may be heard inside vehicle as it ages.
I purchased my red GT new back in 1997. I've driven her nearly 200K and she still virtually drives like new: No signs of transmission failure; Engine runs like the day it was born; Still handles well; Steering still good: Impressive interior/exterior ... read more

Pros: Decent power stock. Good bang for the buck. Cons: Aerodynamics is poor. Not enough torque. The Bottom Line: Not the best bang for the buck. A 98 LS1 Fbody is better in almost aspect.
Well mine is supercharged making 449 RWHP but only 380 RWTQ. With a 13% drivetrain loss, it's about 516 HP at the crank. For some reason, this car feels weak on torque. I've got stock headers, high flow catalytic converters and a Mac catback. The 4.10 ... read more

I bought my 1997 Cobra #1562/6961 in May of 1997. It had 63 miles on the clock. I LOVE this car. I have been the exclusive driver of this car for the last 6 years. I have almost 40,000 miles on the ticker now. It drives great, had tons of power and a ... read more

Pros: 5 Speed, V8, Handling Cons: Rough Ride, Terrible in the snow The Bottom Line: This is a good overall sports car. Handling on dry road=5. Wet road=1. Do the math.
I have to say that my overall experience with the mustang was good. I bought it for $10,000 in 2000. It never had any mechanical problems. I barely could go anywhere in the snow with this vehicle and it is rather small. But for a purely "fun" car it ... read more

This summer, my dad drove my new (to me anyway) 1997 cherry red mustang GT into the driveway. To say the least, I was in heaven. At age 17, this is my dream car. Although I have only had it a few months and have experienced a few problems, I wouldn't ... read more

Pros: Very Fast. Great Stereo. Chicks dig it Big Time. Cons: Everyone will want to race you on I-95. The Bottom Line: Buy it cause it's worth it. It does eat gas. Chicks will love it. Will look even better with twinkies (chrome rims) on it.
The car is great for a sports car. The adjustable seat is a definite plus. Second gear takes off like a rocket. Brakes work great. I have black leather which looks good until the sun bakes them to 125 degrees. The convertible top doesn't need much ... read more

Pros: Timeless classic. Has the price of a sedan with the looks of a sports car. Cons: An odd gas lid, bad traction, and teeny tiny backseat. The Bottom Line: All in all, I suggest this car for anyone who doesn't have children, usually drives alone, and wants a good looking car because of it's reliabilty and charm.
