Pros: Lots of Horsepower, Elegant Design, Full Size Spare Cons: A Copycat, Seats lack support, Very Bad Mileage
The little advertised Mitsubishi sedan is one of the best kept secrets that Mitsubishi has to offer. With it's competitors being the Lexus ES300, Infiniti I30, Cadillac Catera, and Mazda Millienia, it stands out in many respects.
One of...

Pros: Great looks and value added luxury. Cons: Company known better for TV's The Bottom Line: Great car at a better price. Look out competition.
The 1997 Mitsubishi Diamante is everything newer luxury sedans strive to be. Performance minded, option loaded and value priced, this is a great luxury car without the luxury car pricing. Look at the newer BMW 740's, Lincoln LS's, etc. and you'll see...

Pros: Best value for under $5,000 Cons: Absolutely none!
I have owned this car for six years and it has 130,00 miles on it. The leather is still in great shape and the body looks fantastic. The paint job still has its luster. I have never had one bit of trouble with it. I have just maintained it and given it oil changes. I am still holding on to this even though I own a 2006 Lexus ES350 and a 2005 Honda Odessey. I already have had something go wrong with the Lexus...but the Diamante is still going strong. Honestly, this is the best car you can buy for under $5,000!

Pros: good power, good looks, plenty of options Cons: poorly made with cheap materials, this car will not last!
I really liked the look of these so I decided to buy one, I knew two other people that had one and I found one for a good price and bought it. It didnt take long before i could see why people were selling them. Here is a list of issues i had with the car while i had it.
seats were losing color, not cracking but almost like paint chipping off.
moulding on the exterior at the bottom cracked, around the screw holes and then was hanging down
paint on moulding was easily chipping off but the rest of the paint was fine.
power steering pump went out
water pump went out
interior plastics seemed cheap and easily breakable
engine kind of ticked and always made me wonder if i was gonna break down.
ran hot in my opinion, but others said it was normal.
The car was not all bad of course, it sure did look good! It had plenty of power and it was loaded with luxury stuff.
